HPGCL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
There are various vacancies of the engineers and the eligibility criteria will be different for all the applicants as given in the following points:
- Electrical Cadre: Full-time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Civil Cadre: Full-time Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent degree.
- Aspirants are required to appear for the GATE 2018 with the paper code that is mentioned above in the table.
- Candidates’ age must be between 21 years to 42 years.
- Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved category such as the SC and ST category.
- Candidates will be given the relaxation in the upper age as p0er the norms

HPGCL Selection Procedure
- Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of the score attained by the candidates and it will be done on the basis of GATE 2018.
- Candidates need to take the scorecard of ‘GATE’ with them at the time of the recruitment process.
- The recruitment authority may or may not include the written examination for selecting the eligible applicants.
- There will be an interview thru which candidates’ appropriateness for the job will be screened.
