Eligibility Criteria

Educational requirements
Applicant should have completed 10th /matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized University/ Board with 2 (two) years work experience in related trade or 1 year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute of Vocational Institute with minimum of 1 year experience in the trade or 2 (two) years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade
Age limit
The age of candidates should be in between 18 to 23 years as on the year of application. The age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category and other special categories of personnel in accordance with the instructions given by Central Government of India from time to time.
BSF Constable Recruitment Application Form: How to apply?
Eligible candidates can download the prescribed application form and admit card from the official website of BSF i.e. www.bsf.nic.in. Fill the details as required in the application form carefully and correctly. Candidates should submit the duly filled application form and admit card to the concerned RAs/HQrs under which their state falls along with recent passport size photographs, examination fees and other important documents as per the scheduled date. Incomplete applications and applications received after due date will not be considered under any situation.
Selection process
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation Trade Test, and Written Test & Medical Examination.
