Andhra Pradesh Group-I Services Application Form 2022
- The application form will be available online on the official website of Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates can apply thru the application form by providing all the required information in it such as the name, address and the details of the educational qualification.
- Before applying for the post, an applicant needs to register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission Website viz., psc.ap.gov.in.
- Once an applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID.
- Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through the Commission’s website.
Application Fee
- Candidates need to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 250 while submitting the application form thru the online mode,
- The candidates of the SC, ST, BC category and the PH & Ex-Service Men will e exempted from the application fee.
- Candidates can pay the application fee thru the credit card, debit card, and the net banking only.
Andhra Pradesh Group-I Services Eligibility Criteria 2022
- A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidate must have completed their graduation from any recognized institute or university in any stream.
- The age of the applicant must be minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years.
- 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and BCs Candidates.
- 10 years age relaxation for Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates.
- There will be some Physical parameters which candidates must fulfill for the vacancies in the post of DSP in the state.
Andhra Pradesh Group-I Services 2022 Exam Pattern
There will be three phases of the Andhra Pradesh Group-I Services exam, the Preliminary, Mains and the interview.
- The very first part of the examination will be of the preliminary examination.
- The preliminary examination will be of objective nature.
- The question papers will have the multiple choice questions.
- Henceforth, the main examination will be conducted.
- The main examination will be of descriptive nature.
- Candidates who qualify the main examination will be eligible to appear in the interview.
- The Mina exam and the interview will be the second part of the examination.

Interview:
- The interview will carry 75 marks.
- The panel appointed by the APPPSC will judge the candidates’ suitability for the job through oral interaction.
Andhra Pradesh Group-I Services 2022 Selection Process
The selection of the candidates to these posts will be based on the marks attained by the candidates in the written examination and in the interview.
- After qualifying the preliminary exam, candidates will be eligible to apply for the written examination.
- The pre exam will be of qualifying nature.
- The marks of the written examination will be added to the final ranking of the candidates.
- The interview will also have weightage and the total marks in the written exam and the interview will decide candidates’ final rank in the examination.
