SSC GD Constable Result 2022: How to check, Merit list

SSC GD Constable result will be based on the results of all the stages of the recruitment process, i.e. the PET/PST tests, written exam and Medical test combined. Candidates who clear all these stages will be given an appointment letter by the authority. Candidates will get the appointment in different post based on their overall performance in the recruitment process as well as the preferred force (CAPF, SSF, NIA etc.) opted by them. However, there is no guarantee that all the candidates will get their preferred choice of a post in a particular force.

The final result will be displayed in form of PDF format. Only those candidates will be able to check their results who have cleared all the phases of the exam. SSC GD Constable Result 2022

  • Candidates need to clear all the 3 phases – PET/PST, Written exam, Medical exam to be eligible for the post of the Constable in various Armed/Paramilitary forces.
  • The result will be available to the candidates on the official website of SSC.
  • Candidates need to know that the result will be displayed category and state-wise in form of a PDF.
  • After the announcement of the result of the written exam, candidates will be called for medical examination.
  • The commission will release two merit list for males and females on the basis of the written and the medical exam.
  • Force allocation i.e. which candidate will be allocated to which force will be done by the CRPF/MHA.
  • During the medical test, candidate’s document verification will be carried out by the authority.

Resolution of the TIE Case

In case, two or more candidates have secured same marks in the result, the tie resolution will be done in the following manner-

  • The candidate having more marks in the written examination would get preference over the candidate having lesser marks.
  • If a tie still persists then the candidate having more marks in Part A would be given the preference.
  • If the tie still persists then the commission will prefer the older candidate.
  • Finally, the commission will consider the candidate’s name in alphabetical order.

How to check the Result

Candidates are suggested to follow the step by step instructions given below to check their respective SSC GD Constable result –

  1. Go to the official website ssc.nic.in
  2. Click on the “result” tab on top of the screen.
  3. Further, click on the “GD Constable” tab.
  4. Click on the result link.
  5. Look for your “Roll No.” and “Name” on the PDF list displayed.
  6. Save the PDF File for future reference.

In case a candidate wants to know the marks secured by him/her in the SSC GD Constable exam, he/she can follow the [procedure given below-

  1. Go to the official website and click on the “result tab”
  2. Click “GD Constable” tab and now click the “click here” link in the write-up section.
  3. A PDF will appear, scroll down and click the link given to check the marks.
  4. Enter your “Roll No. /Registration No. /PEMT No.” and “password”.
  5. Click on the “submit” button to check the marks.
