Syllabus: Tier-2
The Tier-2 exam will be of the descriptive type where candidates will be asked to write an essay (200-250 words), a letter/application (150-200) on general topics. Candidates can either write the complete exam in Hindi or in English. Partially Hindi/English written answer sheet will not be evaluated.
Syllabus : Tier-3
Candidates should note that the Tier-3 exam of SSC CHSL will be qualifying in nature. The exam will evaluate candidate’s typing speed as per the posts they have applied for. For example – for data entry operator, a candidate should have a typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on the computer. Likewise, for different posts there are different parameters that a candidate needs to fulfill.
