SSC CHSL Syllabus: Tier-1

The Tier-1 exam of SSC CHSL will contain questions from Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, General Intelligence and English Language respectively. Candidates should prepare for the exam from these subjects in order to qualify SSC CHSL Tier-1 Exam. The questions asked under General Awareness section will be based on candidate’s knowledge on general subjects such as-

Note: For VH candidates having a disability of 40% or above, No questions on Maps/Diagrams/Graphs/Statistical Date will be asked in Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence and reasoning whatsoever.

Syllabus: Tier-2

The Tier-2 exam will be of the descriptive type where candidates will be asked to write an essay (200-250 words), a letter/application (150-200) on general topics. Candidates can either write the complete exam in Hindi or in English. Partially Hindi/English written answer sheet will not be evaluated.

Syllabus : Tier-3

Candidates should note that the Tier-3 exam of SSC CHSL will be qualifying in nature. The exam will evaluate candidate’s typing speed as per the posts they have applied for. For example – for data entry operator, a candidate should have a typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on the computer. Likewise, for different posts there are different parameters that a candidate needs to fulfill.
