LIC AAO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Details of the LIC AAO 2023 eligibility criteria are provided below as:
Nationality | Only the citizens of India are eligible to apply. |
Age limit | Age of the candidates should be in between 21 to 30 years as on 1st Feb 2023. |
Qualification | Candidates with bachelor’s or master’s degree in any stream from a recognized university/ institute can apply. |
Relaxation in the upper age will be applicable as per the following rules:
- For SC/ ST candidates: 5 years
- For OBC candidates: 3 years
- For PWD- General candidates: 10 years
- For PWD- SC/ ST candidates: 15 years
- For PWD- OBC candidates: 13 years
- For ECO/ SSCO- General candidates: 5 years
- For ECO/ SSCO- SC/ ST candidates: 10 years
- For ECO/ SSCO- OBC candidates: 8 years
*Confirmed LIC employees will be given a relaxation of 5 years additionally.
LIC AAO 2023 Application Form
The candidates will be able to fill and submit their application form for LIC AAO 2023 through online mode by visiting the LIC website www.licindia.in. The candidates will first have to register themselves after which they can fill the application form.
- Registration form can be filled by providing the basic details of the candidates such as name, email address, phone number, etc.
- After successful registration, provisional registration number & password will be sent on the registered email id.
- Using these details, the candidates can obtain the application form.
- To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their rest personal and educational details.
- Scanned copies of the photograph and signature should also be uploaded into the application form.
- The duly filled application form can then be submitted along with the prescribed application fee.
- A printout of the filled-in application form should be taken out and kept safe in case of future correspondence.

Candidates can submit the application fee via online mode using debit card/ credit cards/ internet banking or IMPS, cash cards and mobile wallets.
Emoluments and Benefits:
Basic pay of Rs. 32795/- per month in the scale of Rs. 32795- 1610(14) –55335– 1745(4) –62315 and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance etc wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city
will be approximately Rs 57,000/- per month in ‘A’ Class city. Other benefits are Defined Contributory Pension,
Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance , Vehicle Loan (2-wheeler/4 wheeler) as per rules, meal coupon, reimbursement of cost of Brief case/leather bags, mobile handset, supply of dailies and magazines and tea/coffee, mobile expenses, etc.as per rules. Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Administrative Officers (Chartered Accountant) with two years post qualification work experience on the date of eligibility are eligible for two advance increments.

Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination:
Shortlisted candidates in final merit list will have to undergo Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found
medically fit, will be offered appointment.
LIC AAO 2023 Admit Card
- The admit card to appear for the preliminary as well as main exam will be published on the official website of AAO.
- Main exam admit card will only be released for the candidates who qualify the preliminary exam.
- Candidates should download the admit card and take its printout to be carried to the exam center.
- Entry into the examination hall will only be granted to those with a valid admit card and identity proof.
- Applicants are advised to keep multiple copies of admit card to protect from loss or damage as admit card won’t be available for download after the exam is over.
LIC AAO 2023 Result
- The applicants will be able to check the result of the preliminary and main exam by visiting the official website of LIC India.
- A list of the candidates who qualify for the main exam will be released after preliminary exam is over.
- Candidates who clear the preliminary and main exam will have to appear for the personal interview.
- To qualify the online exam, the applicants need to score the minimum specified marks in each section as determined by LIC.
- Marks obtained by the individual candidates and cut off marks for various categories will be published on official website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result.
LIC AAO 2023 Selection Process
- Selection of Assistant Administrative Officers will be done through a three tiered process and subsequent Pre-recruitment Medical examination
- Prior to final selection, documents and eligibility of the candidates will be verified.
- Those who get all their original certificates verified successfully and are found to meet all the prescribed eligibility criteria will be selected.
- The selected candidates might be on probation for the duration of 1 year that can be extended up to 2 years, if required.
