Assam TET 2022: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Date

Candidates aspiring to become a teacher in the state of Assam will be required to qualify a common eligibility exam called Assam TET. Assam TET 2022 will be organized by the Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan for BTC, KAAC and NCHAC areas. It is compulsory for every candidate to qualify TET exam in order to apply for secondary school teacher’s job across the state.

Candidates who will qualify the Assam TET 2022 exam will be awarded a certificate that will be valid for five years. Candidates are able to apply online from the official website most probably from September 2022.

Assam TET 2022 Application form

• The application form for Assam TET 2022 will be available on rmsaassam.in which is the official website of Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan.
• Candidates have to fill all the necessary details in the application form and upload the scanned images of recent passport size photo and signature.
• After uploading the documents, the application fee needs to be paid by the candidates.
• Applicants should verify the details before submitting the application form.

Assam TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

• The age of any candidate should not be more than 43 Years.
• Certain Relaxations in upper age will be given to the candidates from the reserved categories.

Educational Criteria

• The candidate must be a graduate (BA/BSc/BCom) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and must have completed BT/B.Ed degree as well.
• Hindi Teacher must have a B.Ed. /BT degree along with a BA in Hindi subject with at least 50% marks. Pravin/Ratna in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks is also required for a Hindi teacher.
• Sanskrit teacher must have a BA degree along with BT/B.ED with at a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university. Sanskrit teacher must also have a Shastri with 50% marks.
• Classic Teachers (Assamese, Manipuri, Arabian etc.) should have BA degree in concerned subject with at least 50% marks along with a Bed/BT degree.

Assam TET 2022 Exam Pattern

Assam TET Admit Card 2022

The admit card will be available on the official website (www.rmsaassam.in). Candidates have to log in to their accounts in order to download the admit card. A photo identity proof along with the admit card will be required to appear in the exam.

Assam TET Cut Off 2022

At least 60% marks are mandatory in order to qualify in Assam TET 2022 exam. However, candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD/MOBC category will be required to score only 55% marks to qualify. Candidates, please note that the Cutoff marks can be altered by the RMSA Assam.

Assam TET 2022 Result

RMSA Assam will publish the list of successful candidates along with their marks on the official website. The number of candidates qualified will be double the number of vacancies in the state.  Successful candidates are advised to keep the print out of result with them till the selection procedure is completed.
