Important points about to be noted about Preliminary Examination
- As mentioned in the above table, there will be 100 questions in the preliminary examination which will be given to be solved in time duration of 1 hour.
- Each question has been assigned with 1 mark and this way the whole question paper will be of 100 marks.
- All the minor topics of the subjects viz. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability have been provided in IBPS Clerical Examination Syllabus.
- The questions will be of objective nature and there will be multi-choice answers for every question which candidates will have to pick the one which is correct of all.

Important details about Main Examination to be noted by all the candidates
- Main Examination, the second stage of the clerical Examination is slightly tough as compared to the preliminary examination. It has more questions from more topics but off course there will be more marks and more time as well.
- Candidates will have to solve 200 questions of different topics within time duration of 2 hours.
- Candidates will be rewarded with 1 mark for every correct answer as every question has been with 1 mark.
- All the questions will be of objective nature in the main examination as well which will have multi-choice answers. Candidates will have to choose the one which is most appropriate amongst all.
