In order to prepare well for an exam, it is important to know its pattern in advance. The Assam SLET Exam Pattern 2022 will explain to the candidates the type of questions asked in the paper, scheme of marking, exam duration, etc. All these information can help the candidates in getting ready for the exam mentally. Assam SLET Exam Pattern 2022
The candidates appearing for the Assam SLET exam in the year 2022 can check the complete details of the exam pattern below.
- Duration of exam: The total duration of the exam will be 5 hours with appropriate breaks. The break timing is excluded from the total duration of the paper.
- Number of papers: The test will consist of 3 papers in total.
- Number of exam session: The exam will be held in two sessions.
- Number of questions: There will be 185 questions in the exam out of which 175 will be compulsory.
- Total marks: The maximum marks that the paper will contain are 350.
- Type of questions: Only objective type questions of the following forms will be asked in the exam:
- Multiple Choice questions
- Matching
- Assertion and Reasoning
- True and False
- Marking scheme: For each correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded.
- Negative marking: There will be no negative marking.
- Mode of exam: The exam will be held in offline mode. OMR sheet will be provided to the candidates in which they can darken their answer.

Things to keep in mind while marking the answers
- Match the question from the test booklet and then mark your answer in the OMR sheet.
- You need to darken the bubble completely or else it might not be read by OMR machine.
- Do not put a tick or cross in the bubble. Only darkened bubble will be checked for answers.
- Do not leave the bubble half darken and do not color outside the bubble. Both the ways are incorrect.
- Only use ball point pen to darken the bubbles.
