It was established as a joint venture of National Council of YMCA India, Govt. of Haryana and the Central Agencies for Development Aid, Bonn, Germany. It is a state public University situated in Faridabad, Haryana. The former name of this University was YMCA Institute of Engineering. The YMCA University Of Science And Technology Faridabad is affiliated to NAAC and UGC. In the year 2009, this University had been awarded as the State University by the state Govt. YMCA University Of Science And Technology Faridabad- Admission Procedure

For UG Programs

• The applicants will get admission in B.Tech, based on their performance in JEE Main examination.
• On the other hand, for B.Tech (LEET), the admissions will be provided as per the guidelines of HSTES Panchkula. 

For PG Programs

• To get admission in M.Tech, the applicants must have a valid score card of GATE.
• The shortlisted applicants will have to take part in online counseling scheduled by the University to get admission in M.Tech program.
• Whereas for M.Sc & MCA, the applicants will have to qualify the entrance examination conducted by the University itself. 

For MBA Program

• The applicants will get admission in MBA, based on their performance in CAT/MAT examination.
• The shortlisted applicants will also have to face GD/PI to get admission in MBA program.
