The online application form for XAT exam has been released on the official website of XLRI Jamshedpur. The candidates who wish to appear for the XAT can fill up the application form. The registration process has been commenced from 15th July 2023. Timely submission of the registration form will prevent the candidates from paying the late fee. The details of the XAT Application Form are provided here in this article to help the candidates in filling and submitting the form in the right manner.

XAT Application Form 2024
On the official website of XLRI xatonline.in., the candidate will have to fill up the registration form by providing their name, contact details and email id. A provisional XAT ID and password will be generated. Information of the same will also be sent on the email id and the contact number.
The successfully registered candidates can proceed towards filling the application form. Here, the candidates will have to provide their personal details, academic details and upload the scanned copies of photograph and signature. The photograph must be colored taken in front of a light-colored background. The signature to be uploaded should be taken from a black ink pen on a white paper. In case of unclear photograph or signature, the form is liable to get rejected. The specification of the photograph and signature is mentioned here:

After all the details are filled and the documents are uploaded, you can click on the ‘final submit’ button. Once, the form is submitted finally, no changes or modifications are possible.
The next step will be the payment of application fees/ imitation charge. The structure of application fee is given as:

The payment of fee can be done both online as well as offline. In case of online fee submission, it can be done via Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro) / Credit Cards / Internet Banking / IMPS / Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets. On successful transaction of the fee, an e-receipt will be generated. The candidates are supposed to take a printout of this receipt.
In offline mode, the fee payment can be done via cash or by demand draft. For payment with cash, the Challan form needs to be downloaded and submitted to any branch of IDBI bank. The bank will retain the bank’s copy of Challan and return the candidates’ copy. While payment through demand draft, a DD is to be made in favor of “XLRI JAMSHEDPUR” payable at JAMSHEDPUR. The details of the DD need to be mentioned in the form.
A print out of the duly filled application form must be taken and kept for future reference.
