Important Notes

  • Dates for the subjects Physical Education & Social Service and Work Education will be announced later.
  • Exam in Shorthand & Typewriting will be held at Kolkata and Siliguri only. The exact venue and date will be announced later.
  • The exam in Sewing and Needle Work will be held for the duration of 4:15 hours.
  • Theoretical exam in Music Vocal & Music Instrumental will be held for the duration of 2:15 hours. The venue, date and duration of the Practical Examination in these subjects will be announced later. The practical exam will be held at Kolkata, Burdwan & North Bengal Regions only.
  • Theoretical exam in Computer Application will be held for the duration of 2:45 hours. Practical exam of this subject will be taken by individual schools.
  • Exam of vocational subjects (under NSQF project) will be held for the duration of 1:45 hours. Practical exam of this subject will be taken by Sector Skill Council or individual schools.
  • Apart from the duration mentioned above, extra 15 minutes will be provided to the students to read the question paper.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates appearing for the exam must keep certain things in mind for the smooth conduct of the examination, as given below:

  • Do not forget to carry your admit card while reporting to the exam center or entry will not be allowed into the exam hall. Do not write anything on your admit card.
  • Report for the exam at the time specified to you on the admit card. Late candidates will not be allowed to take the exam.
  • The candidates must show the admit card any time when asked by the invigilator.
  • Candidates must not carry any bits of paper, electronic gadgets or other prohibited items to the exam center.
  • Those found practicing any unfair means (UFM) will be disqualified immediately and their results will not be declared.
