The board is being established to offer equal right of studies to students from different background of the society and uplifts them. It is responsible for monitoring, controlling and regulating academic courses and undertakes successful execution of the examination for different classes.  It ensures that the exams are effectively organized and conducted sans any delays and hassles. The board is responsible for conducting examination for Primary Teacher’s Training, Awarding Diplomas, Prizes, and Certificates pertaining to primary education. It is the sole authority in the state to monitor, control and regulate examinations that are conducted by the board. It also conducts needs based extensive teacher training program.
