JEEDEC 2021- This test is organized by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for aspirants looking to get admission into five year evening programmes for Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering offered at Jadavpur University. Eligibility Criteria
Please have a look on minimum eligibility conditions for appearing in WBJEEB JEEDEC 2021:
- Age limit hasn’t specified by the authority.
- Applicants must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates should have cleared Diploma exam with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade point from UGC recognized Indian University/Government/Statutory body in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering. SC/ST/Pwd category applicants need to obtain minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates should be having minimum one year of experience in the related filed, counted from diploma exam result date till the deadline of submission of application.
- Aspirants those are selected for admission they must obtain “No Objection Certificate” for the respective course of study.
How to Apply?
WBJEEB JEEDEC 2021 application form will be available in online mode at its official website. Following steps are involved for successful form submission:
Step 1- Registration Process
This is the foremost step need to be accomplished by candidates very minutely by giving only right inputs. Suppose, you’ve committed any sort of mistakes, you won’t be liable to do correction. Provide your genuine and working email ID and phone number as further communication will be made through this only. When you go for re-login, you’d be asked to enter your application number and date of birth.
Step 2- Fill up Your Application Form
During online form filling process, you’d be asked to enter your personal and academic information and choices of two examination centres. All fields mark with (*) are mandatory to fill.
Step 3- Upload Requisite Images
Yes, in this step you need to upload scanned copies of signature, photograph and Admit Card/class 10th mark sheet as age proof. Prescribed sizes of requisite images are as follows:
Step 4- Payment of Fee and Confirmation
The authority has specified the application fee as Rs. 510/- (Application fee = Rs. 500/- and Bank Charges = Rs. 10/-) and the same needs to be paid through e-challan. Once you made the payment you need to re-login to your account and enter payment details.
Post completion of aforementioned four steps, you need to submit your application finally and the system will automatically generate a confirmation page.
WBJEEB JEEDEC 2021 Exam Pattern
- There will be separate questions papers for Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering aspirants.
- The question paper will contain 100 MCQ type questions. Answer of questions need to be marked on OMR Answer Sheets by using only black /blue ball point pen.
- Every question will have four alternatives among which you need to mark the right answer.
- Every correct response will fetch 1 positive mark whereas, (-1/4) mark gets deducted for every incorrect response.
- Aspirants will find questions in English language only.
Admit Card
Admit card of all successfully registered candidates will be available to download at official website of the authority. All aspirants need to bring hard copy of their admit card. Please keep in mind, your admit card should not be mutilated/ distorted/ soiled under any circumstances, otherwise you won’t be allowed to appear in the test.
Examination Centres
The test will be conducted at KOLKATA and HOWRAH.

Result of JEEDEC 2021 will be published at official website of the authority on the prescribe date. Please keep in mind; you won’t be communicated about your result personally by the authority. Visit the website www.wbjeeb.in in the 2nd week of July 2021 for viewing your result.
Counselling and Admission Procedure
Result of applicants will be handed over to Jadavpur University, who will thereafter organize counselling and admission process. Counselling process is must for all candidates who achieved the minimum qualifying marks.
