JELET 2021: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is responsible for organizing WBJEE JELET 2021 every year. It is a state level entrance test conducts for providing lateral entry admission to Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy courses at undergraduate level in the various colleges/institutes of West Bengal. It is expected that, JELET 2021 Application Form will be available from 4th May 2021 and the examination will be organized on 29th August 2021.

The application form correction facility for JELET 2021 is active from 25th May to 27th May 2021.

WBJEE JELET 2021 application form will be available from 4th May 2021.

JELET 2021 Eligibility criteria

Aspirants should ensure their eligibility before applying for JELET 2021 Exam. The conducting board i.e. WBJEEB has decided some WBJEE JELET eligibility criteria 2021 that candidates have to satisfy before filling the application form. Here are the Eligibility Criteria of JELET 2021 which is illustrated as follow:

  • Candidate should be Indian national and also possess the permanent domicile of West Bengal.
  • Aspirants should have done the higher secondary education with scoring no less than 45% marks (40% marks for candidates from reserved category) from a recognized board.

WBJEE JELET 2021 Application Form:

The registration process for JELET 2021 will commence from 4th May 2021 and the common entrance exam will be held on 29th August 2021 at various examination centers across the state. Before filing the WBJEE JELET application form 2021, candidates need to read the instructions mentioned in the brochure carefully. Some important information about JELET 2021 application form is given below:

  • Candidates can fill and submit the application form online only through visiting the official website of authority.
  • They will supply all the required information such as the name, address and the details of the educational qualification correctly.
  • Upload the scanned photo and signature in the application form as per the given specification.
  • Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- as necessary application fee through online using credit card, debit card, Allahabad bank challan payment gateways.

JELET Exam pattern 2021

A common paper will be organized for all branches of Engineering/Technology whereas for Pharmacy and B.Sc candidates there will be a separate paper. The paper will include various sections depending upon the qualifying examination that the candidate has passed. Here we’ve provided the basic details on WBJEE JELET exam pattern 2021.

JELET Syllabus 2021

The syllabus of WBJEE JELET 2021 would be based on the syllabus of diploma level as prescribed by WBJEEB. All the applicants should practice all subjects to get knowledge on all the topics.

JELET Eligibility Criteria 2021

The following eligibility criteria have been decided for WBJEE JELET 2021 examination:

Nationality:

  • The candidates of Indian nationality are eligible to apply.

Upper age limit (as on 31st December 2021):

  • For Diploma holders in Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Technology: No age limit
  • For Diploma holders in Marine Engineering: 25 years
  • For B.Sc candidates: 27 years

Educational qualification:

For diploma holders:

  • The candidates should have done their diploma from a recognized institution in the relevant field with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PWD candidates).

For B.Sc candidates:

  • Candidates who have passed their B.Sc degree from a recognized institution with 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PWD candidates) can apply.
  • For such candidates, pass in the Mathematics as a subject at class 12th level is mandatory.
  • Such candidates will have to clear Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing of the 1st year course along with their second year subjects.
  • Sc candidates will only be considered for vacant seats (if any) remaining after filling the seats with Diploma holder candidates.
  • Sc candidates are not eligible for admission into Pharmacy course.

JELET 2021 Admit Card

  • Candidates who submit their application successfully will be able to download their admit card for the exam.
  • Admit card will be released few weeks before the exam on the official website of WBJEEB.
  • The applicants must download their admit card, take its printout and carry it to the exam center on exam day.
  • Only the candidates with a valid admit card will be allowed to appear for the exam. Damaged or distorted admit card will not be considered as valid.
  • Admit card must be preserved by the candidates until the complete process of admission is over.

JELET Result 2021

  • Result of the JELET exam 2021 will be declared on the official website of the board www.wbjeeb.in.
  • Candidates will be able to see their result and download their rank card from the website using their login details.
  • Rank card will be issued to all candidates but only those who score more than the prescribed cut-off will be considered as qualified.
  • A merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared in the order of ranking on the basis of the score obtained.

JELET Counseling Process 2021

  • On the basis of the names of the candidates in the merit list, counseling will be conducted.
  • Complete details related to the counseling process will be made available on the official website.
  • The candidates appearing for counseling must carry all the important documents while reporting for the counseling.
  • Applicants will be allowed to provide their choice for institutes at the time of counseling.
  • On the basis of choices made by the candidates and the seats available, seats will be allotted to them.
