Eligibility Criteria for VTU ULRAT Admissions

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree course in Engineering / Technology or equivalent from the University or any other University recognized by it, with at least 60% aggregate marks or of CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 scale at either the Bachelor’s or the Master’s Degree.

Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Technology or equivalent recognized by the University with excellent merit, with minimum of 70% aggregate marks or CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 scales are also eligible to apply

The candidates who have obtained their Master’s degree via Distance mode will not be eligible

VTU ULRAT Application Procedure:

Candidates can obtain the application form from the official website of authority i.e. http://vtu.ac.in/ph-d-and-msc-engg/. The duly filled in application forms along with applicable DD for Rs. 800/- drawn in favor of Finance Officer, VTU, Belgaum and required documents should be sent to following address before the end date of VTU ULRAT form submission

VTU ULRAT examination pattern

VTU ULRAT will be held in all the faculties individually for a total of 100 marks. The VTU ULRAT Question paper will include objective type questions or MCQs with options as per the following composition:

 General Aptitude: 20 Marks

Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Marks

Subject Aptitude: 50 Marks

Total= 100 marks
