VITMEE 2023: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Date

Admission to M.Tech and MCA degree programmes offered by the VIT University will be done on the basis of an university-level entrance exam, VITMEE 2023. The university might release VITMEE application form from March 2023 and can be filled by interested candidates through online mode. However, the candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for the entrance exam. The date of entrance exam will be updated soon.

VITMEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for VITMEE 2023 are provided below:

Nationality:

• Candidates of Indian nationality who have graduated from the institutions in India can apply for the entrance exam.
• Foreign national candidates and NRI/ PIO candidates need to apply separately for the admission.

Academic criteria:

• M.Tech: A full-time graduation degree in the relevant field (as given below) with not less than 60% aggregate marks is required.
• For M.Des (Industrial Design): The candidate should hold any engineering, architecture or design degree with a minimum score of 60% in aggregate.
• MCA: A 3-year bachelor’s degree in BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level with at least 60% marks is required.

VITMEE 2023 Application Form

• The application form for VITMEE 2023 will be made available through online mode.

• Candidates can fill and submit their application form by visiting the official website of the VIT University www.vit.ac.in.

• To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal and qualification details.
• Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and signature should also be uploaded in the application form.
• After providing all the information into the form, the candidates should submit it on or before the last date. Late applications will not be considered.
• The candidates must take a hard copy of the filled application form and keep it safe in case of future reference.

Application fee 

• The candidates need to pay an amount of INR 1121 as application fee to complete the VITMEE application process.
• Payment of the application fee can be done through online mode using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

VITMEE 2023 Slot Booking & Admit Card

• Admit card will be made available for the candidates who successfully book the slot for the entrance exam.
• Registered candidates will be able to book their slots after a link is send to them on their registered email address.
• A confirmation mail will be sent to the candidates who successfully book their slot on their email id.
• After this, the candidates will be able to download their admit card using their application details.
• The candidates should take a printout of the admit card to carry it to the exam center along with a valid id proof.
• Any candidate reporting to the exam center without these documents will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

VITMEE 2023 Result

• Authorities will declare the result of the entrance exam on the official university website in the month of June 2023 (tentatively).
• A list of the qualified candidates will also be made on the basis of their marks in the entrance exam.
• Those with their names in this list will have to submit the counseling fee via computerized DD to participate in the counseling process.

VITMEE 2023 Counseling

• Candidates should appear for the counseling round as per the schedule intimated via the official website.
• Documents of the candidates will be verified and they will have to appear for an interview round.
• After all the documents are verified and interview is conducted, seats will be allotted to the candidates.
• Candidates who are allotted seats need to report to the university and complete the formalities of admission.
