Uttarakhand Board of School Eductaion is a Government Agency of Uttarakhand that is trusted with responsibilities of prescribing the courses of instructions and textbooks and also shares the responsibility of conducting examinations for different classes especially for secondary school students in Uttarakhand. There are more than 10,000 schools that are affiliated with the board and have set up more than 1300 examination centers for over 30,000 examinees each year.

Roles of Uttarakhand Board of School Education

The board is responsible for conducting examinations for class 9^th, 10^th, 11^th and 12^th. The academic department of Uttarakhand not only executes the examinations but also devises the syllabus for the different class standards. The syllabus for the classes is subject to changes as per the changing academic trends each year. The exams are conducted in the months of March and the results are declared in the month of April end. The results for all the classes are updated on the site.
