Academic qualification

• Candidate must have done higher secondary or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Agriculture/Biology/ Horticulture and or Vocational Agriculture/Horticulture as optional subjects and obtaining minimum 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST and Person with Disability).
• Applicants from Vocational stream should obtain minimum 60% marks in aggregate in the H.S. examination.

Age limit:

• The applicants should acquire minimum of 16 years or above as on admission year.

Aspirants can apply for UBKV UG admissions through online mode. Applicants seeking admission to various UG need to fill the application form online by going to the official website of University i.e. i.e. www.ubkv.ac.in. Fill up the required details carefully and accurately. Candidates need to upload necessary documents and scanned copy of photograph and signature in the given fields as per prescribed format. They have to pay Rs. 500/- + Bank Charge (Rs. 125+ Bank Charge for candidates from SC, ST category) as required application fee. After submission of application form along with the fee, take the print of final application for further reference.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected to B.Tech course in Agricultural Engineering through scores obtained in WBJEE conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Board and Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal.

Counselling

Selected candidates will be invited by the university for counseling process. Candidate needs to be present at the time of counseling along with required documents. Seat allocation and document verification will be done during counseling.
