Eligibility criteria 

Candidates must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria before appearing in admission test organized for PG admissions. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Applicants who have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or Forestry from a recognized University with at least 60% marks or minimum OGPA 6.5 in 10 point scale in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination are eligible to apply for the admission test.
• The minimum marks and OGPA for SC/ST/PWD candidates are 50% and 6.00 respectively.
• Candidates having Bachelors Degree with minimum 60% marks (50% for candidates from SC/ST/PWD) under traditional system can also apply.
• The minimum age limit of candidate will be 21 years as on admission year.

Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya PG 2023 Application Form: How to apply?

Candidate can apply for UBKV M.Sc Admission test online by visiting the official website of the university (www.ubkv.ac.in).  They need to pay Rs.600.00 (Rs. 150.00 for SC/ST candidates) as required application fee through an online and offline payment mode. Applicants will have to pay the required application fee for each application individually. In case of offline payment, candidates will have to submit the required application fee to any of the branches of United Bank of India. No application form without submission of application fee will be entertained.

Admit Card

Admit card for UBKV PG admission 2023 will be available after the successful completion of the application process for the written entrance exam. Candidate can download their admit card online through visiting the official website of the authority. Take the print out of your admit card and bring the same with you on the day of entrance test. No candidate will be allowed to enter in the exam center without a valid admit card.

Exam Pattern

• The duration of the entrance exam will be1 hours 30 minutes.
• The test will comprise objective and multiple type questions.
• There will be no negative marking for the wrong response given by candidates

Result

The result will be published on the official website after the successful completion of the entrance test. Applicants qualified for more than one subject will be allowed to select the course according to their wish during counseling round.

The final admission of candidates will be made strictly on merit basis, according to the position in the merit list. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Higher Secondary, B.Sc. and Admission test.
