Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) regulates UPSEE for granting admission to first year courses in the field of management, engineering, pharmacy, architecture, fashion & apparel design, fine arts and many other programs. In addition, the authority also offers admission to lateral entry undergraduate courses in the field of pharmacy, engineering, and computer applications.

The prescribed eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2018 are as follows:
Eligibility for admission to 1st Year UPSEE programmes

UPSEE 2018 Application Form
- Candidates can submit the UPSEE application form 2018 through online mode only.
- Aspirants can access the application form from the official website of university after official release of notification.
- Fill the mandatory fields accurately with valid details.
- Candidates also have to upload the scanned images of colored photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression as per the specifications.
- Make the payment of applicable fee before the due date.
- There is no need to submit the hard copy of filled-in application form/or any document to the University.
- After depositing the application fee, applicants can take the printout of “confirmation page” for future use.

- Examination Mode: Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3 and Paper-4 will be held as OMR based whereas the rest of the papers are CBT (Computer Based Test).
- Type of questions: Exam will consist of objective type questions except Drawing Aptitude Test (Part-B of paper-4)
- Duration of the exam: 3 hours
- Marking scheme: For each correct answer 4 marks will be rewarded.
- Negative marking: No provision of negative marking for wrong response.
Syllabus of UPSEE
The syllabus of UPSEE 2018 will vary from paper to paper. The written entrance test will organize for a total of 11 papers and every paper contains the subject from different areas. Candidates can check the detailed syllabus for UPSEE 2018 from the official website of university. The Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Biology subjects of paper-1 (B. Tech. Agriculture engineering/ B. Tech) and paper-2 (B. Tech. Bio Technology) basically covers the important topics of 10+1 and 10+2 level.
The admit card of UPSEE 2018 will available online only probably in the first week of April 2018. Admit card is an important document which comprises the details related exam such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and time, venue and other instructions for the exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to carry their admit card while going for the examination.
It is expected that the authority will announce the UPSEE 2018 result in the last week of May 2018. Candidate can check their result along with answer key online from the official website of university. Moreover, the conducting body will also prepare a separate merit list for each course based on applicant’s performance in UPSEE exam.
The conducting authority will invite the shortlisted candidates for counseling. It is must for all the selected candidates to appear in the counseling process in person as per the scheduled date and time along with the required documents. The authority will inform all the qualified candidates regarding counselling process through newspapers and website. Seats will be allotted as per the rank of candidate rank and availability of seats.
