Banda University of Agriculture & Technology will release UPCATET 2023 notification for admission to Under Graduate, Post Graduate, and PhD course in Banda University Of Agriculture And Technology, Banda, Uttar Pradesh; Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur; Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur; and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut.

Candidates seeking admission in above-said courses through UPCATET must fill and submit their UPCATET 2023 application form as per the prescribed schedule.

Eligibility Criteria

First of all, candidates need to ensure their eligibility before applying the entrance test. The important eligibility conditions of UPCATET 2023 are as follows:

For Under Graduate programmes: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or Intermediate equivalent examination with PCB/ PCM/ PCMB as necessary subjects.

For M.Tech Courses: Applicant should hold a Bachelor Degree in the relevant stream.

For Post Graduate Programmes: Applicants must possess B.Sc degree and 10+2+4 years degree (3 yr degree holder are not allowed)

For Ph.D courses: Candidates should hold M.Sc degree in related stream.

For MBA courses: Applicants must possess Bachelor or master degree.

UPCATET 2023 Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates can obtain the UPCATET 2023 application form online from its official website https://online.upcatetexam.org/.

We recommend the candidates to first read all important instructions and eligibility criteria before starting the application fill in process.

Fill the mandatory fields very carefully and correctly. Candidates need to pay necessary application fee for successful registration.

They can pay the fee online through credit card/ debit card or payment can also be made through e-challan deposited in any branch of SBI Bank. Candidates are advised to review the duly filled form before clicking on submit button. Take the printout of completely filled application form for further reference.

Application fee

• Candidates from general and OBC category need to pay Rs 1250/- (1550/- with late fee).
• In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category the application fee is Rs 1050/- (Rs 1350/- with late fee).

UPCATET Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for UPCATET 2023 is provided below:

• There will be a common entrance test for all undergraduate programmes.
• The exam will be conducted over a duration of three duration.
• The question paper will consist of 200 questions of 500 marks in total.
• The question paper will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.

There will be four groups of papers as mentioned below:

PCB (Code-01): Candidates should have passed/appeared 10+2 examination with Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Candidates, who are willing to get admission into degree course in Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Forestry, Veterinary Science and B.Tech. (Biotechnology), they can choose this group.

PCM (Code-02): Candidates should have passed/appeared in 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Those who are seeking admission into degree course in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Home Science and B.Tech. various stream they can choose this group:

PAG (Code-03): Candidates should have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination wit Agriculture stream. Those are willing to get admission into degree course in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, B.Tech. in Agril. Engineering, Biotechnology and Dairy Technology they may choose this group.

PHS (Code-04): Candidates should have passed/appeared in 10+2 examination in Arts stream with Home Science. Those are willing to get admission into degree course in Home Science they can choose this group.

Admit card

The authority has released the UPCATET 2023 admit card online on its official website.  Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form along with fees on time can only download their Admit card/hall ticket.

Your admit card will comprise important details like exam date and time, candidate’s roll number, venue of examination center etc. Candidate should bring their admit card while appearing in the examination center.

Result

Aspirants who successfully appeared in the examination center can check their result online from the official website of board.

They need to enter their registration number and date of birth in order to check and download their result.

Admission process

The selection of candidates is strictly made on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test. The authority will prepare a merit list of candidates based on their marks in the entrance test.

UPCATET 2023 Counseling process

The officials will invite the selected candidates for counselling process as per their merit. Candidates should attend the counseling as per the specified date and time to get admission in various Master’s, Undergraduate and Ph.D. courses.
