UPCAT Dental 2021: Application Form, Eligibility, Result, Admit card

The association of Medical and Dental Colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh (Commonly known as UPCAT) is the apex body of all the MCI and DCI recognized medical institutes running in the state of Uttar Pradesh. UPCAT is conducting BDS entrance exam annually for the admissions to Bachelor level dental courses at its various associated institutes.  Check out this article to know about complete details regarding UPCAT Dental 2021. Eligibility for UPCAT Dental 2021

Age: Only those who are completing 17 years on or before 31st December, 2003 are eligible to attend UPCAT BDS 2021.

Domicile: Not only the students from Uttar Pradesh, but also the foreign nationals/ Non-Resident Indians are eligible to attend UPCAT BDS 2021.

Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have studied 10+2 from any board of education with studies including subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Board or University with 50% marks (general category candidates) or 40% marks (SC/ST candidates).

Exam Pattern

Pattern: It’s a multiple choice type examination. The total duration of the exam is 180 minutes and the candidates have to attend 200 questions of 200 marks. The questions of UPCAT Dental 2021 are from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany. 50 questions will ask from each category.  There will be no negative marks for wrong answers and unanswered questions.

Application form

The candidates interested in registering Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test ‐ DENTAL (UPCAT DENTAL) are required to send the application in the prescribed format only, otherwise the application will not consider for further reviewing.

Candidates can collect the application form either in person by paying cash of Rs. 1500/‐ (Rs.One Thousand Five Hundred Only) OR by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 1600/- (Rs. One thousand six Hundred Only) in favour of “The Association of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Uttar Pradesh” payable at Bareilly via post to the Coordinator UPCAT‐ Dental 2021, Keshlata Hospital, Delapeer, Bareilly (U.P.) Pin 243 122.

Admit Card

Every successfully applied candidate are entitled to get the admit card from its official website www.upcatdental.net on or after the second week of May 2021. The institute never sends admit card by post.

Result

Candidates can find the exam result on the official website of UPCAT in the month of June. Enter the registration number (as shown in the admit card) to view the results.
