For admission into BAMS, BUMS and BHMS courses, UP CPAT 2021 will be conducted by the Lucknow University. Admissions will be granted into various government and private institutes of the UP state. The interested candidates who also fulfill the eligibility criteria will be able to apply for the exam in online mode. Eligibility Criteria
The following UP CPAT eligibility criteria 2021 must be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates:
Domicile:
- The candidates who are a domicile of the state of Uttar Pradesh are only eligible for admission in government colleges.
- Candidates who have passed their class 10th and 12th or equivalent exam from Uttar Pradesh are also eligible for government colleges.
- The above conditions will not be applicable for admissions in private colleges.
Age limit:
- The minimum and maximum age of the candidates as on 31st December 2021 should be 17 years and 25 years respectively.
- A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.
Educational qualification:
- The candidates who have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology are eligible.
- A minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology is also required.
- For admission into BUMS course, a pass in Urdu subject at class 10th or equivalent exam is mandatory.
Application Form
The UP CPAT application form will be released in online mode on the official website. The candidates are suggested to submit their application before the last date so as to avoid any rush. A valid email address, phone number and an identity proof are must for filling the application form.
- To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide information such as name, email address, phone number, date of birth, category, identity proof details, marks in qualifying exam, school/ institute name, board/ university name, etc.
- In addition to provide personal and educational details, the candidates will also be allowed to provide their choice for exam center.
- Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph, signature and right-hand thumb impression will also be uploaded in the form in JPG/ JPEG format.
- After providing all the details as required in the form, the candidates can proceed with the submission of application along with the required fee.
- The process of application will be completed after fee payment. The candidates must take a printout of the filled-in application form and fee receipt and keep it safe for future reference.
- There is no need to send the hard copy of the form or any other document to the university office.
Application fee:
- The application fee will be Rs. 2000/- for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 1000/- for SC/ ST candidates.
- Payment of the fee can be done in online mode through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
- Application fee once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Admit Card
- Admit card for UP CPAT 2021 will be made available in online mode only.
- The candidates will be able to download the admit card using their registration number and password.
- Candidates must take colored printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam center along with them.
- Details of the exam center will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card.
- No admit card will be sent to the candidates via post or courier.

The overview of UP CPAT 2021 exam is given below:

- Mode of exam: Offline (OMR sheet)
- Medium of question paper: English and Hindi
- Type of questions: Objective type
- Number of questions: 180
- Total marks: 720
- Marking scheme: 4 marks will be given for every correct answer
- Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer

Result
- The result of the entrance exam will be declared on the official website most probably in the month of October 2021.

- Counseling of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted as per their names in the merit list.
- Separate merit lists will be prepared for admission into different courses.
Counseling
- Applicants who qualify their entrance exam will be invited to take part in the counseling process as per their merit.
- The candidates must take part in counseling as per the schedule intimated through the website.
- At the time of counseling, the candidates can provide their choice for institute.
- The candidates will also have to submit prescribed amount of counseling fee. Submission of counseling fee can be in online mode.
- On the basis of their ranking and choice made, the candidates will be allotted seats in the colleges.

लखनऊ. उत्तर प्रदेश में एमबीबीएस और बीडीएस में दाखिला लेने से से वंचित रह गए अभ्यर्थियों को वर्तमान शैक्षिक सत्र 2017-18 में डाक्टर बनने का एक और मौक़ा मिलने जा रहा है। उत्तर प्रदेश के निजी और सरकारी महाविद्यालयों में आयुर्वेदिक, यूनानी व होम्योपैथी की स्नातक कक्षाओं में दाखिले के लिए संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा का आयोजन होने जा रहा है। शासन ने इस बार लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय को संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा ( Common Entrance Test ) कराने की जिम्मेदारी सौपी है। लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय ने संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा को लेकर तैयारियां शुरू कर दी है।
बीएएमएस, बीयूएमएस और बीएचएमएस पाठ्यक्रमों में होंगे प्रवेश
प्रदेश के सरकारी और प्राइवेट महाविद्यालयों में संचालित बीएएमएस (BAMS), बीयूएमएस (BUMS) और बीएचएमएस (BHMS) पाठ्यक्रमों के प्रथम वर्ष में प्रवेश के लिए कॉमन एंट्रेंस टेस्ट का आयोजन होने जा रहा है। शैक्षणिक सत्र 2017-2018 के लिए ये प्रवेश लिए जायेंगे। इस सम्बन्ध में तैयारियों को लेकर उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के आयुष विभाग के सचिव की अध्यक्षता में मंगलवार को जनपथ स्थित विकास भवन में एक बैठक आयोजित हुई। बैठक में प्रवेश परीक्षा की प्रक्रिया को लेकर समीक्षा हुई और अफसरों से चर्चा हुई।
बढ़ रही है आयुष डाक्टरों की मांग
एमबीबीएस और बीडीएस में चयनित होने से वंचित रह गए अभ्यर्थियों के लिए आयुष एक विकल्प के रूप में सामने आता है। लगातार आयुष डाक्टरों की बढ़ रही मांग के कारण इन कोर्सों में प्रवेश के लिए हर बार अभ्यर्थियों की संख्या में बढ़ोत्तरी होती जा रही है। सरकारी और गैर सरकारी क्षेत्रों में आयुष डाक्टरों के लिए कैरियर के नए विकल्प बनते जा रहे हैं जिसके कारण सरकार भी इन पाठ्यक्रमों और इन्हें संचालित करने वाले महाविद्यालयों की सुविधाएँ बढ़ाने पर जोर दे रही है।
