UP B.Ed JEE 2024: Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern

The Lucknow University will release the dates for the state level examination UP B.Ed JEE 2024. Clearing this examination will help the aspiring candidates get admission in different Government and Government aided colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can appear for this exam and can build their future in teaching and related fields. The duration of the course will be for two years, at the successful completion of which the students will be provided their B.Ed degree.

UP B.Ed 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The very first thing to know about the UP B.Ed JEE 2024 is its eligibility criteria. Only those candidates who match the mentioned criteria will be allowed to appear for the exam. The following are the candidates who will be eligible to appear for this entrance examination:

• Candidates from both general and reserved classes who have scored a minimum of 50% in Science, Social science or Humanities category from a recognized university
• Graduated candidates from B.Tech/B.E. who have passed with a minimum of 55% aggregate in Science and Mathematics
• It is necessary that the candidate is a citizen of India.
• The minimum age limit for a candidate should be 21 years.

UP B.Ed 2024 Application Form

The application form will be made available on the official website of the Lucknow University. The complete process of filling the forms will be done online. You need to provide the genuine details of your personal information, such as name, date of birth, category, scanned copy of their photograph, etc. You will be able to fill up the application form only after you have submitted the whole fee.

Candidates can submit their fees through online payment portal from where their debit/credit card. Apart from this, offline mode (in the form of challan) for the payment of fees is also available. Based on your suitability, you can opt for any mode of payment. The structure of fees is as follows:

• For the general and OBC candidates, the registration fee is Rs 1500/-
• For the candidate belonging to SC/ST category, this will be Rs 750/-

Instruction for Uploading Photograph and Signature 

Candidates have to upload their photograph and signature during the registration process as per the specification mentioned below:

• A latest coloured password size photograph of dimension 35mm x 45mm needs to be uploaded in the form.
• The size of photograph should not be more than 50 KB.
• The size of signature should not be more than 20 KB.
• Both the images should be in JPG format.

Candidates are required to put their signature at the given place of the printout of filled application form. However, they do not need to send it to the exam conducting authority.

UP B.Ed 2024 Exam Format

This examination paper will be of objective type, with a total of 200 questions. 3 marks will be awarded for each right answer and one-third marks will be deducted for every wrong answer given. The duration of the examination will be 6 hours and will be divided into 2 papers of 3 hours and 100 questions, each. The pattern of the examination can be clearly understood from the given table:

UP B.Ed Admit Card

A few days before the commencement of the entrance exam, admit card for the eligible candidates will be made available on the official website. By submitting their registration number, the candidate will be able to download the admit card and can take a printout of it that will be shown at the examination center. The admit card will require the signature of the candidate’s father and the left thumb impression of the candidate. The center for the examination will be present on the admit card on the basis of choice given by the candidate at the time of filling the application form.

UP B.Ed JEE Result

The UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Exam may be conducted in April 2024.  The result might be released in June 2024. The candidates can check their results from the official website by entering their roll number and registration number. The candidates who clear the examination will be eligible to appear in the counseling and based on their ranking, they can select the available colleges to pursue their B.Ed degree.

UP B.Ed Counselling 

It is expecting that UP B.Ed JEE counselling process would be started in the month of July 2024. The counselling process will be organized into six stages. Seats will be allotted to candidates based on their performance in the entrance test. Before appearing in the counselling process, candidates have to fill out the preferences of colleges according to their rank in the entrance exam.
