UKSEE 2022: Application Form (out), Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus

The Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE 2022) will be organized by the Uttarakhand Technical University for admission into the 1st Year courses of B. Pharma., BHMCT, and MCA etc. and lateral entry to the B. Pharma., B. Tech., and MCA programs offered by the colleges affiliated to the university. The entrance exam is conducted on an annual basis and for this year it is currently postponed till further notice. Candidates aspiring for admission into the mentioned courses will need to apply for the UKSEE 2022.

UKSEE 2022 exam will be organized in online and offline mode. However, the application form for the same will only be available via online mode. UKSEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Please read the minimum eligibility criteria for UKSEE 2022:

General Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from Uttarakhand are eligible to apply.
  • Aspirants appearing in the qualifying exam from state other than Uttarakhand but hold a valid domicile of Uttarakhand are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Course-wise Eligibility Criteria

Given below are the eligibility criteria for some of the courses. For complete eligibility criteria, candidates are suggested to follow the page dedicated to it.

Pharmacy: A candidate must have passed class 12th with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects and any of the subjects Mathematics/Biotechnology/ Biology and must have secured minimum 45% marks in the given subjects taken together.

  • MCA: A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree with mathematics at 10+2 level or at the graduate level and must have obtained 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
  • MBA: A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 50% aggregate marks (45% for candidates from reserved categories).
  • Note: CAT/MAT qualified candidates need not appear for UKSEE exam, they only need to fill the registration form.
  • M.Tech: A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates from reserved categories).

UKSEE 2022 Application Form

Candidates can obtain the application form from the official website http://uktech.ac.in/. The application form can only be filled via online mode. Candidates need to carefully fill their particulars in the application form as once the form is submitted; no correction/editing request will be entertained by the authorities. Applicants will be asked to upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature while filling the form. Candidates need to pay a requisite amount of application fee otherwise their applications will be considered incomplete and will end up getting rejected by the officials. Applicants need not send the hard copy of the submitted application form to the officials. Separate applications will be submitted for different courses opted by a candidate.

Application Fee

Candidates aspiring for admission into various courses offered under UKSEE 2022 will need to pay a certain amount of fee for the exam. Here’s the application fee they will need to pay-

  • 1500/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories.
  • 750/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

The fee stated above can only be filled via online mode i.e. through Debit Card / Credit Card/ Net Banking.

UKSEE 2022 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for UKSEE 2022 entrance exam is given below-

UKSEE 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for UKSEE 2022 exam varies from paper to paper. The syllabus will depend upon the course opted by a candidate in which he/she wants to enroll. For detailed syllabus, candidates can go to the page dedicated for it.

  • Paper-1: This paper will be composed of questions pertaining to Physics & Chemistry. Candidate needs to prepare for this paper as per the curriculum of class 11th and 12th.
  • Paper-2: This paper will be of Mathematics. The questions asked will be of level of class 11th and 12th respectively.
  • Paper-3: This paper will consist of questions from the Biology (Zoology + Botany) based on the curriculum prescribed for class 11th and 12th.
  • Paper-4: The paper consists of an aptitude test for general awareness. Here questions will be asked from the reasoning section, Numerical aptitude & scientific aptitude, General Knowledge, and English language.
  • Paper-5: This paper will be of Aptitude test and will comprise of questions from topics/subjects such as mathematics, logical ability, and statistics.
  • Paper-6: The Paper is a general aptitude test for diploma holders where basic topics from the subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and relevant engineering diploma subjects will be asked.
  • Paper-7: This paper can only be given by the candidates who are diploma holder in pharmacy. The test will be of general aptitude test where questions from the pharmacy related topics will be asked.
  • Paper-8: The paper is an aptitude test for B.Sc graduates and it comprises of questions from the topics such as- linear algebra, calculus, Fourier series, differential equations etc.
  • Paper-9: The questions in this paper will be asked on mathematical Aptitude, Computer Science (BCA/B.Sc (CS)/B.Sc. (IT) Level and Logical Reasoning.
  • Paper-10: The questions in this paper will be asked on topics under English or Verbal Ability, Mathematics or Quantitative ability, Data Interpretation, and logical reasoning.
  • Paper-11: The paper is of aptitude test for M.Pharm. The syllabus will be as per the curriculum of GPAT examination.
  • Paper-12: The paper will include questions from general aptitude, general knowledge, basic mathematics, common engineering subjects from B.tech.

Preparation Strategy for UKSEE 2022 Exam

Candidates seeking admission into different courses through UKSEE Entrance Exam 2022 need to prepare whole-heartedly for the same. The UKSEE Exam is a highly competitive entrance exam. Therefore, candidates should make a concrete preparation strategy to clear the exam efficiently. Here are some tips on how to prepare for UKSEE 2022 exam –

  1. Avoid collecting books and choose only a few authentic sources to start your preparation with.
  2. Learn time management by solving mock tests and previous year question papers.

UKSEE Admit card 2022

The admit card for UKSEE 2022 will be available to the candidates via online mode only. Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official website. Candidate should keep a printout of the admit card for future reference. The entry to the exam hall will not be given to a candidate who doesn’t possess a valid admit card. Candidates should preserve the admit card till the entire admission process is over. A candidate must bring a valid ID proof along with the admit card on the day of the exam.

UKSEE 2022 Result

Candidates can check their UKSEE result from the official website. The result will be displayed along with the answer keys. A separate merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of a candidate in the exam. Candidates can check their merit rank, score card, marks obtained from the official website i.e. www.uktech.ac.in.

Admission and counselling

After the result is announced, candidates shortlisted as per the merit list will be called for the counselling to initiate the admission process. Candidates need to provide their preferred choice of course and college during the session. The seat will be allocated on the basis of rank obtained by a candidate in the UKSEE exam, availability of seats, the preference made by him/her. The counselling will be conducted in many rounds. On successful allotment of the seat, a candidate needs to report to the allotted college to finish the admission related formalities.
