However, the chance of changing pattern is very less; therefore you can start your preparation with following mentioned information.
Important Highlights
- There will be only one question paper in the exam of duration 3 hours.
- Language mode of the question paper will be English only.
- The test will be conducted in online mode.
- The question paper will be of 300 marks in total.
- There will be 80 questions in total which will be taken from 6 topics of the syllabus.
- There will be three sections of the question paper.
- Negative marking rule will be applicable for all these three sections.
Section A (Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions)
The first section will include only Numerical Answer Type questions where answer of a question will be a number and that needs to be entered with using virtual keyboard. Each correct response is associated with 4 marks whereas, 1 mark gets deducted for every incorrect response. Questions, which are non-attempted will be awarded zero marks.
Section B (Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
The next section will contain only MSQ type questions having one or more correct answers out of four given choices. Answer of a question will be assumed correct if you have selected only right options. For every correct response, 5 marks will be awarded whereas, 0.5 marks gets deducted for every incorrect response. Questions which are not attempted will be awarded zero marks.
Section C (Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
Four options will be given for each multiple choice questions out of which one option will be correct. 3 marks is associated with every correct answer whereas, 1 mark gets deducted for every wrong attempt.
