Uttarakhand Ayurveda Pre Medical Test abbreviated as UAPMT is an entrance exam conducted for admission to UG courses BAMS, BHM, BUMS, etc. under Uttarakhand Ayurveda University. As per the latest notification, this exam is now replaced with NEET UG. So, the candidates looking for admission through UAPMT 2022 need to apply for the NEET UG exam to be conducted by the National Testing Authority (NTA). The application form will release in online mode most probably in the month of November 2022.
The candidates who will get their name in the merit list as per the NEET UG exam score have to participate in the centralized counseling. This centralized counselling will be organized by the Uttarakhand Ayurveda University.

- Through this admission procedure, the aspirants may get admission to around 19 private and government institutes affiliated to the Uttarakhand Ayurveda University.
- The university will not conduct UAPMT 2022 written exam, the admission will be granted solely on the basis of NEET exam merit.
- After the declaration of NEET exam result, the university will conduct centralized counselling for successful candidates.
- An applicant must be domicile/ permanent resident of Uttarakhand. However, outside candidates can also apply if they have passed class 10th and 12th from a school situated in the Uttarakhand.

Eligibility Criteria
The interested candidates need to fulfill the UAPMT eligibility criteria 2022 given below in order to apply.
Nationality and Nativity
- Only Indian aspirants can apply.
- The candidate should have a domicile/ permanent resident certificate of Uttarakhand.
- Those aspirants who are not a domicile/ permanent resident of Uttarakhand but passed 10th and 12th class from an institute situated in the state of Uttarakhand can also apply. However, such applicants will not get any kind of reservation.
Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and English subject. Please note that aspirant should pass in these subjects individually.
- Applicants should also have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology subjects taken together. 40% for the candidates from SC/ ST and OBC categories. The PWD (Physically handicapped) candidates need at least 45% marks in PCB.
NEET Performance
- To be eligible for admission, the applicants have to score at least 50th percentile marks in the NEET exam.
- 40th percentile in case the candidate belongs to SC, ST or OBC categories. PWD candidate requires 45th
Application Form
As UAPMT 2022 is now replaced, the candidates have to apply for the NEET exam through the official website of NTA.
- In order to apply, the aspirants first need to register on the official portal i.e. www.ntaneet.nic.in.
- Once registered, the candidates may log-in and start filling the details in the application form.
- All the necessary information such as personal details, educational detail, etc. needs to be entered in the application form.
- Make sure to enter the correct information to the best of your knowledge as documents will be verified later.
- In addition to the details, the candidates should upload scanned images of photograph and signature.
- The format of an uploaded image should JPEG/ JPG. The size of a photograph and signature must be (10 KB to 200 KB) and (4 KB to 30 KB) respectively.
- After the application form submission, the applicants have to pay the necessary application fee.
- The candidates should also take a printout of the submitted application form and fee receipt for future requirements.
Application Fee
The application fees that the candidates from different categories have to pay are as follows:
- General/ OBC category: Rs. 1400/-
- SC/ ST/ PWD/ Transgender candidates: Rs. 750/-
Mode of payment: Application fee can be paid using a credit card, debit card, net banking or by cash using an e-challan.
Exam Pattern
Aspirants looking for admission through UAPMT 2022 need to clear the NEET exam. The exam pattern for NEET is as follows:
- Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen and Paper Based)
- Number of Questions: 180
- Type of Questions: Objective type multiple choice questions
- Duration of Exam: 3 hours
- Languages of Exam: English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil, Odia, Marathi. (Depends upon the state in which you are giving the exam)
- Marking Pattern: 4 marks for every correct answer.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will get deducted for every wrong answer.

Note: The information about the exam pattern is based on the data of the year 2022. The NTA may conduct NEET exam in online mode in the year 2022.
Admit card
- The applicants who will submit the application form and fee before the last date can download admit card from the NTA website.
- The Admit card will bear the complete information about name and address of the examination center.
- Additionally, the roll number, name, father’s name, date of birth, photograph and signature of the candidate will also be available on the admit card.
- While appearing for the UAPMT Exam 2022 (NEET Exam), the aspirants need to carry the following documents.
- Print out the admit card
- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the official website)
- PWD certificate ( only if claiming relaxation under PwD category)
- One photo ID proof in original – Driving License/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Card/ any other valid photo Identity proof.
Result
- After the exam, authorities will display the answer key on the NTA website.
- The candidates will get the opportunity to challenge the answer keys if they want to.
- After the answer key, the final result will be declared.
- A candidate will be able to check his/her result by entering the roll number, date of birth etc.
- Remember there is no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation.
Counselling and Admission
- The candidates who will qualify the NEET exam can take part in the counselling process to be organized by the Uttarakhand Ayurveda University.
- In order to take part in the UAPMAT counselling 2022, the candidates need to register on the Uttarakhand Ayurved university website i.e. www.uau.ac.in.
- At the time of registration, the applicants need to fill and lock their choices of institutes for admission.
- In case the candidate fails to lock the filled choices then the same will be locked automatically after the last date.
- After choice filling, the university will display the result of counselling. Through this result, the candidates will come to know about the college allotted to them.
- Finally, the candidates have to report to the allotted college for fulfilling rest of the admission formalities.
