TS PGECET 2023: Application Form, Exam Date, Syllabus

Osmania University will conduct the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test 2023 (TS PGECET 2023) on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This exam will be organized to select the candidates for admission to postgraduate professional courses such as ME / M.Tech/ M.Pharmacy / M.Arch. In order to apply for this exam, the candidates need to fill and submit the application form in online mode.

Only the candidates satisfying the local/ non-local status of Telangana state can apply for the exam. The application process might start in March 2023. The mode of exam will be online i.e. computer-based test.

TS PGECET 2023 Overview

• This exam will be held at only two locations in the state of Telangana i.e. Warangal and Hyderabad.
• The exam will be conducted in online mode i.e. computer based test.
• In case the candidates want to apply for more than one course then they have to pay the registration fee separately for each test.
• The application form will be submitted online, printed hard copies of an application form will be rejected.
• All the questions in the exam will be asked only in English language and there will be no negative marking.

The exam pattern of TS PGECET 2023 exam will be as follows:

• Mode of Examination: Online (Computer Based Test)
• Type of Questions: Objective type multiple choice questions will be asked only
• Language of Questions: English only
• Number of Questions: 120
• Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking
• Cutoff marks: 25% i.e. 30 marks out of 120 (there is no minimum cutoff mark for SC/ ST candidates)

TS PGECET Syllabus: The syllabus of TS PGECET 2023 depends upon the course in which the candidate is looking for admission. The questions will be asked from the subjects studied by the candidate at the graduation level.

TS PGECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria will be different for all the courses as given below:

For M.Tech/ M.E

• The candidate must have a B.E/ B.Tech degree with a relevant branch with at least 50% marks (45% for the candidates from reserved categories)

For M.Pharm/ Graduate Level Pharm – D (PB) course

• The applicant must possess a B.Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the candidates from reserved categories)

TS PGECET 2023 Application Form

If the candidates fulfill all the eligibility criteria then they should fill the application form by the following method.

• The candidates need to apply for this exam only in online mode through the official website of Osmania University.
• To start the application process, the candidates first need to submit the application fee
• In the application form, the candidates have to provide all the necessary educational, personal and contact details.
• Apart from the details, the candidates first need to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph along with a signature.
• The registration number will be assigned to the candidates once they are registered.
