TS LAWCET 2022: Application Form (From 6 April), Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus, Pattern

TS LAWCET 2022: The Osmania University, Hyderabad will conduct the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test 2022 (TS LAWCET 2022) exam on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This exam will offer admissions into 3 years and 5 years regular LLB courses in different law colleges in the state of Telangana. It is notified that the TS LAWCET 2022 exam will be held on 21st and 22nd July 2022.

The application form for this exam is available from 6th April 2022 and mode of application will be online. TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below in order to appear for the TS LAWCET 2022 exam

For 3 year LLB Course:

• The candidates must possess a graduation degree under 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
• If the candidate doesn’t have 45% marks in graduation then he/she must have 45% marks in post graduation.

For 5 year LLB Course:

• The applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)

Nativity

• The candidates must be an Indian citizen and must fulfill the Local/Unreserved status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974.

TS LAWCET Application Form 2022

The application form for TS LAWCET 2022 will be made available in online mode through the official website. The candidates have to enter all the required academic, contact and personal details in the application form. While filling the application form, the candidates will be required to enter the two preferences of regional test centers.

In addition to the details, the applicants have to upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature on the application form. The candidates should keep the printout of confirmation page safe for future requirement.

Application Fee

The application fee for TS LAWCET 2022 exam will be different for all categories as given below:

• For General and OBC candidates: Rs. 800/-
• For SC/ ST candidates: Rs.500/-

Medium of Entrance Test: Question paper will be set in Telugu, English and Urdu language

Sections of Exam: TS LAWCET 2022 will be divided into 3 parts as given below:

• Part A: Consist of 30 Questions from “General Knowledge and Mental Ability” carrying 30 Marks
• Part B: Consist of 30 Questions from “Current Affairs” carrying 30 Marks
• Part C: Consist of 60 Questions from “Aptitude for the Study of Law” carrying 60 Marks

Note: The standard of Questions will be of Intermediate level for 5 year law course and Degree level for 3 year law course

Admit Card

The candidates have to download the hall ticket for TS LAWCET 2022 exam from the official website. The hall tick will be available 1 week prior to the date of exam. In order to download the admit card, the candidates have to enter their registration id and password. No candidate will be permitted to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.

TS LAWCET Result

The result of TS LAWCET 2022 exam will be declared online through the official website. The rank cards of the candidates will also be uploaded on the website after one week of the publication of result. There is no provision of re-checking or re-evaluation in TS LAWCET exam. The online answer sheets of the candidates will be preserved for the 6 months after the declaration of result.

TS LAWCET Counselling 2022

After the declaration of result, the candidates will be called for counselling process. During counseling process, the candidates have to provide their choice of institutes and colleges. The allotment of seats will be done as per the rank of the candidates. The admission will be confirmed after the verification of original documents. The official schedule for TS LAWCET exam 2022 will be updated after the release of its respective notification.
