TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2021- Nationality, Domicile, Qualification

In order to appear in the integrated entrance test conducted by the TSCHE for admissions into MBA and MCA courses, the candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility requirements. The basic TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2021 as laid down by the concerned authority requires that the candidates should pass their graduation before the admission. It is very important that the candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test ensure their eligibility first. The candidates selected for admissions will be disqualified if at any later stage, if it is found that they do not meet all the set requirements. Only the eligible candidates should proceed towards filling the TS ICET Application Form 2021.

TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Eligibility criteria for any exam are the basic requirements that must be met by the candidates who wish to appear for the exam. Similarly, the candidates who will be appearing in the TS ICET must fulfill its eligibility requirement. The TS ICET Eligibility Criteria 2021 is given below in details:

Nationality:

  • The candidates of Indian nationality can apply for TS ICET exam 2021.
  • The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.

Domicile:

  • The Indian National candidates need to satisfy the local/ non-local status requirements as mentioned in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date.

Educational qualification:

  • The applicants should have passed their bachelor’s degree examination from a recognized university.
  • The minimum duration of this degree is 3 years.
  • The candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
  • A relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks will be given to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories, i.e. they will have to secure at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

For MCA:

  • Those who have passed their bachelor’s degree examination of minimum 3 years duration are eligible.
  • The bachelor’s degree should however, be earned from a recognized institute/ university.
  • At least 50% marks must be scored by the candidates in their qualifying level examination.
  • The candidates from reserved categories need to score 45% marks in aggregate in their qualifying exam.
  • The candidates should also have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level.

Important Notes

  • The qualifying degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC/ AICTE and DEC/ DEB.
  • The candidates who will be appearing in their final year exam of the qualifying degree are also eligible for TS ICET.
