TS EAMCET: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad organizes TS EAMCET II officially known as Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is a state level entrance exam conducted to provide admissions to approx 2650 MBBS and BDS seats in the state of Telangana. TS EAMCET Medical is going to conduct on July 9, 2016.

TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria:
Before appearing in TS EAMCET Medical, candidate must fulfill the prescribed Eligibility Criteria. The eligibility criteria for TS EAMCET Medical are as follows:
- Aspirant should be Citizens of India/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas citizens of India
- Applicants should belong to Andhra Pradesh or Telangana state
- Interested applicant should satisfy the local and non local status requirements as mentioned by the Telangana or Andhra Pradesh state
- Candidates should attain the age of 17 years as or on December 31, 2016
- Applicants should have qualified or appeared in Class 12th or equivalent examination
- Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category)taken together in Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology in Class 12th examinations
Exam pattern
- The entrance exam will be a pen and paper based test. Candidate will have to mark their answers in the provided OMR Answer Sheet.
- The duration of TS EAMCET Medical will be 3 hours.
- The question paper will comprise a total of 160 multiple choice questions from four sections including Physics, Botany, Chemistry and Zoology. Each section will include 40 questions with four alternative options in which candidates have to choose one correct answer.
- Each correct answer is rewarded with one mark.
- There is no negative marking in the exam.
Application Form: How to apply
The TS EAMCET Medical application forms will be available on June 1, 2016. Interested and eligible candidate can fill the application forms online by going through the official link. Candidates have to submit Rs. 500 (for General Category) and Rs. 250 (for SC/ST category) as required TS EAMCET Medical application fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/ e-seva centres in Telangana/AP online centres/ Mee Seva Centres/TS Online centre. Applicants must take the print out copy of the filled in application form and submit the same to the invigilator during the TS EAMCET Medical 2016 entrance exam.
Admit card/Hall Ticket:
TS EAMCET Medical hall tickets will be available to download in the online mode from July 2 to 7, 2016. The conducting authority will not send admit card by post or courier to individuals. Candidate can download their admit card/hall ticket by entering their unique application number and password. The admit card will contains important details such as candidate’s name, exam schedule, examination venue,
Result:
TS EAMCET Medical result will be announced in the month of July, 2016. JNTU, Hyderabad will only announce the result for the qualified candidates. The passing percentage of marks for the entrance exam is 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking. Though, for reserved category candidate such as Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, no minimum passing mark is prescribed.
Counselling:
JNTU will only invite the candidates for counseling process who successfully qualify the TS EAMCET Medical 2016 entrance exam. Allocation to 2650 MBBS and BDS seats will be done on the basis of candidate’s marks, availability of seat, choice filling, as per the counselling norms of Medical Council of India (MCI).
