The detailed exam pattern for the engineering entrance exam and the medical & agriculture entrance exam conducted under TS EAMCET is provided below.
TS EAMCET Exam Pattern 2023 for Engineering
- Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted in online mode, i.e., computer-based test.
- Exam duration: The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
- Exam session: The exam will be conducted in two sessions- morning (10 am to 1 pm) & afternoon (3 pm to 6 pm).
- Test paper language: The question paper will be bilingual- English & Urdu or English & Telugu.
- Total number of questions: A total of 160 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Type of questions: The questions asked in the exam will be of objective type.
- Subjects involved: The questions will be asked form the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry of class 11th and 12th.
- Marking scheme: Each correct answer will fetch one mark to the candidate. There will be no provision for negative marking.

TS EAMCET Exam Pattern 2023 for Agriculture & Medical
- Mode of exam: TS EAMCET will be held as a computer-based test (online mode).
- Exam duration: The exam will be conducted for a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours).
- Exam session: The exam will be held in the morning session (10 am to 1 pm) and evening session (3 pm to 6 pm).
- Test paper language: The test paper will be made available in 2 languages, English & Urdu or English & Telugu.
- Total number of questions: The total number of questions asked in the exam will be 160.
- Type of questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
- Subjects involved: Physics, Chemistry and Biology as per the syllabus of class 11th and 12th.
- Marking scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each answer given right and 0 mark will be awarded for wrong or un-attempted question.

Qualifying Marks in TS EAMCET 2023
Talking about the qualifying percentage criteria, a candidate has to achieve a minimum of 25% marks of the maximum marks measured for ranking. However, if you belong to SC/ST category then there are no minimum qualifying criteria is prescribed. But, admissions to SC/ST category candidates are limited to the extent of seats reserved for these categories.
The hall ticket for TS EAMCET exam 2023 will be released online hopefully in the month of April. The candidates will be able to download their hall ticket by providing their registration number, date of birth and qualifying exam hall ticket number. The candidate must carry their hall ticket to the exam center in order to appear for the exam.
