Tripura University 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

The course-wise eligibility criteria to apply for the Tripura University admission 2022 are provided below.

For undergraduate courses:

• B.Sc in Chemistry: The candidates should have passed their class 12th exam with Science stream having Chemistry as a subject.
• B.Com: Applicants need to clear their class 12th exam from any stream to be eligible for B.Com course.
• B.Sc in Statistics: A pass in class 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject is required.
• BA in Music: The candidates with a pass in class 12th exam can apply for this course.
• B.Sc in Botany: Candidates who have cleared their class 12th exam with Science stream having Biology as a subject can apply.
• BA in Philosophy: Those with a pass in 12th class exam in any stream from a recognized board are eligible.
• B.Sc in Physics: The applicants should have clear their class 12th exam with Science stream having Physics as a subject.
• BA in Sociology: A pass in class 12th from a recognized board in any stream is required.
• BA in Political Science: Applicants who have cleared their class 12th exam are eligible for BA in Political Science.

For postgraduate courses:

• M.Tech in Electrical Engineering: Candidates with BE/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or allied branch are eligible.
• M.Sc in Statistics: A pass in B.Sc (Honors/ Pass) in Statistics or Mathematics is mandatory.
• M.Sc in Botany: The candidate should have hold a B.Sc/ BE/ B.Tech degree of a recognized University.
• MA in Sanskrit: Those with a BA degree (Honors/ Pass) in Sanskrit can apply for the admission.
• MA Sociology: Candidates with a bachelor degree in any discipline is eligible for this course.
• Masters of Journalism & Mass Communication: Applicants should hold a BA/ B.Sc degree (Honors/ Pass) in any field to be eligible.
• Masters in Fine Arts (MFA): A pass in BVA or BFA in Drawing & Painting or Modeling & Sculpture from a recognized institute is required. 
• M.Com: The candidates who hold a B.Com degree of a recognized university are eligible to apply.
• MCA: Applicants should have done BCA or B.Sc (CS/ IT) in order to be eligible for MCA degree program.

Tripura University 2022 Application Form

Candidates interested for admission to Tripura University can submit their application form through online mode. The application form will be made available on the official website of the university www.tripurauniv.ac.in.

• Personal details such as name, gender, date of birth, category, domicile, etc of the candidates need to be provided into the application. 
• Academic details specifically that related to the qualifying exam, contact details, etc will also be asked into the application form.
• Candidates also need to upload the scanned copies of their photograph and signature into the form.
• After providing all the information into the application form, candidates should carefully check the details for any error.
• Any error if found in the form should be corrected and after that the candidates can proceed with the submission of the form.
• Along with the form, the candidates also need to make payment of a prescribed amount of application fee. The application fee will vary from one course to another.
• Upon submission, a printout of the duly filled and submitted application form should be taken by the candidates for future reference.

TUET 2022 Admit Card

• The admit card to appear for the Tripura University Entrance Test will be published on the official university’s website.
• Using their application details like application number, date of birth, etc, the candidates can download the admit card.
• After downloading, the candidates should take a printout of the same on an A4 size paper.
• The printout should be carried by the candidates while reporting to the exam center on the day of exam.
• Only after producing the admit card, the candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Admit card should be preserved by the candidates till the whole process of admission is over.

Tripura University Admission Process 2022

• The Tripura University will select the candidates for admissions either on the basis of merit or entrance exam.
• Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying exam or in the entrance test, merit lists will be prepared by the authorities.
• For admission to different courses, separate merit lists will be prepared.
• As per their names in the merit list, the candidates will be called for the further process of admission.
• For admission, the candidates will be allowed to provide their choice for institutes and course specialization and their documents will also be verified. 
• Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their choice and merit after the successful verification of documents.

Important Documents

Candidates must note that document verification is a mandatory round of the selection process. The candidates should carry with them the following documents in original and photocopy while reporting for the admissions:

• Class 10th and 12th mark sheets
• Class 10th and 12th pass certificate
• Admit card of the entrance exam, if applicable
• Result of the entrance exam, if applicable
• Category certificate, for reserved category candidates
• Disability certificate, for PWD candidates
• Transfer certificate/ Migration certificate from institute last attended

Tripura University Distance Course Admission

The university also invites applications from the candidates for admissions to its distance course. The distance mode is however available only for few courses.
