Selection of the candidates for admission to polytechnic colleges of Tripura will be done on the basis of Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination of Tripura or DEEET. Application form will be released online tentatively in the last week of April 2023. Key Points about Tripura Polytechnic Admission 2023

  • Candidates have to apply online only. Application form other than online mode will not be accepted.
  • Physical presence of candidate is mandatory during document verification and admission or else the candidature will stand cancelled without any notification.
  • PWD candidate seeking compensatory time need to produce original PWD certificate at the exam center.
  • The candidates will be allowed to select two centers of examination as per their choice. The available options are Agartala, Udaipur, Belonia, Ambassa and Dharmanagar.

Residential criteria:

  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tripura.

Educational qualification:

  • Candidate must have passed in the Madhyamik or equivalent examination from Tripura Board of Secondary Education/ Central Board of Secondary Education or other equivalent boards.
  • A candidate must obtain minimum 35% marks in aggregate (without rounding up) in the Madhyamik or equivalent examination (as per AICTE, New Delhi).
  • Candidates appearing in their Madhyamik or equivalent exam in 2023 can also apply.

Age limit:

  • There will be no maximum age limit for candidate (as per AICTE, New Delhi)

Tripura Polytechnic 2023 Application Form

Submission of Tripura Polytechnic application form 2023 can be done by accessing official website of Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination of Tripura deeet.tripura.gov.in. Only one application should be submitted by a candidate.

  • At first candidates need to register themselves by providing basic details like name, gender, date of birth and email address.
  • After successful registration, a message will appear on screen with DEEET 2023 Registration Number.
  • Using the registration number or email address with password, candidates can log in to fill up Candidate Profile.
  • Rest personal and educational details of the candidates will be asked in the Candidate Profile.
  • Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and signature and front page BPL ration card (if applicable) need to be uploaded in the form.
  • After providing all the details correctly, the candidates can submit the form online with the prescribed application fee.

Tripura Polytechnic 2023 Admit Card

  • Admit card for DEEET 2023 will be available for download on the official website www.tripura.gov.in.
  • The admit card will contain important details like name, exam, date, time, test center address, etc.
  • A copy of admit card, along with a valid identity proof must be carried to the examination enter.
  • Candidates should not damage the admit card in any way or else it won’t be considered as valid.
  • The admit card should be preserved by the candidates till the completion of the admission process.

Tripura Polytechnic Result 2023

  • Result will be published on the official websites www.highereducation.tripura.gov.in and www.deeet.tripura.gov.in.
  • The Central Selection Committee (CSC) will release the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test.
  • This list will include the candidates who meet the criteria fixed by the committee for appearing in the counseling process.

FAQs

Can I ask for reevaluation of result if I think there may be some discrepancy?

The DEEET does not provide any provision for reevaluation at any stage and therefore no such application should be made in this regard.

I have been selected previously in Tripura polytechnic college but didn’t got the admission. Can I still apply?

Candidate, who has been allotted a seat in the past through CSC in any of the polytechnic college of Tripura, shall not be eligible to avail seat in 2022-23 session unless he/she has surrendered the allotted seat in writing to the appropriate authority within specific date & time.

What if I accidently submitted multiple application forms?

Duplicate application may cause the rejection of the candidature and should be avoided.
