Tripura JEE 2022: Admit Card (Released), Exam Date

Admission of candidates to the Engineering, Technological, Veterinary, Agricultural, Fisheries, Paramedical, etc courses offered by the institutes of Tripura state is done on the basis of TJEE. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam through online mode from 16th February 2022. Tripura JEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying for the Tripura JEE 2022 are given below:

Nationality:

• Candidates who are a citizen of India are eligible to apply.

Domicile:

• Applicant should be a permanent resident of Tripura and either the applicant or his/ her parent should have been residing in Tripura state continuously for at least 10 years immediately prior to the date of making application.
• Children of serving defense personnel hailing from Tripura are also eligible provided that their they have stayed in Tripura continuously for at least 5 years immediately prior to the date of making application.
• Children of All India Services Officers born in Manipur- Tripura cadre and the children of the employees of State Government posted outside Tripura are eligible irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.
• Children of ex-serviceman, where either the candidate or his/ her parents are staying in Tripura continuously for at least 5 years immediately prior to the date of making application are eligible as well.
• Candidates whose parent is an Officer on deputation to the Government of Tripura or officer of the Central Government working in Tripura and has served in Tripura continuously for a period of three years are eligible irrespective of the prior stay in Tripura. However, such candidates should have passed their class 12th from an institution of Tripura.

Academic qualification:

• The applicants should have passed their class 12th exam from Tripura Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.

TJEE Application Form 2022

Candidates can apply online for the Tripura JEE 2022 by visiting the official website of the board www.tbjee.nic.in. Only those who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above should proceed with the application process.

• Application form can be filled by providing the basic personal, academic, contact and other details of the candidates.
• Photograph and signature of the candidate in scanned format should also be uploaded into the application form.
• Scanned copies of caste certificate,  certificate of DDRC (for PWD candidate), certificate from Rajya Sainik Board (for EX candidate) and Ration card (for male BPL candidate) should be uploaded in the form as well.
• Choice for exam city should be provided by the candidates at the time of filling the application form.
• After providing all these details correctly into the application form, the candidates can submit the form with the prescribed the application fee.
• The candidates should now take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Application fee: 

To complete the application process, the candidates are required to submit an application fee along with the form. Check out the category-wise application fee structure below.

• For General/ OBC category candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 550/-.
• For SC/ ST category candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 450/-.
• For female and BPL candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 350/-.

Mode of payment:

• Online mode will be available for the payment of application fee and can be done by using the net banking facility or debit card or credit card.

Tripura JEE 2022 Exam Pattern

• Mode of exam: Offline mode
• Duration of exam: 2 hours (for each paper)
• Question paper language: English and Bengali
• Number of questions: 50 (for each paper)
• Type of questions: Objective type
• Total marks: 100 (for each paper)
• Marking scheme: For every right answer 2 marks will be awarded to the candidates.
• Marking scheme: There will be no negative marking.

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/ Technological degree courses will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to various Degree Courses of Veterinary/ Agricultural/ Fisheries, Paramedical and others will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates desiring to take chances in both of the above groups will have to appear in all the four subjects.

TJEE Admit Card 2022

• Candidates can download their Tripura JEE 2022 admit card from the official website of the board.
• A printout of the admit card should be taken by the candidates and carried to the exam center while appearing for the exam.
• Only those who report to the exam center with a valid admit card will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• The candidates are advised to preserve this admit card even after the exam is over as it might be required at the time of admission.
• To avoid loss or damage, it is suggested that the candidates keep multiple copies of the admit card with them.

Tripura JEE 2022 Result

• The result of the Tripura Joint Entrance Exam will be published on the official website of the board.
• It is expected that the result will be declared in the first week of June 2022.
• On the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam, a merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared.
• Candidates will be invited to attend the counseling round as per their names in the merit list.

TJEE Counseling 2022

• Counseling of the shortlisted candidates will be done as per their merit. Details about the counseling schedule will be made available on the website of board.
• Documents of the candidates will be verified at the time of counseling and they will be asked to provide their choice for college course specialization.
• After successful verification, candidates will be offered final admission as per their choice and merit.
• Selected candidates should then complete all the formalities of admission like payment of fees, submission of document, etc and secure their seats.

Tripura JEE 2022 Important Documents

Candidates reporting for the counseling must carry with them the following documents in original and self-attested photocopy:

• • Admit card of Madhyamik Examination or equivalent/ Birth certificate as proof of age
  • Admit card/ H.S Examination or equivalent examination/ certificate from concerned institution as a proof of appearing in H.S exam or equivalent exam with the clear mention of subjects of exam
  • Marksheet of H.S or equivalent exam and Madhyamik or equivalent exam
  • PRTC (not Citizenship certificate)/ other certificates as proof of residency of the applicant or his/ her father/ mother from the appropriate authority, which one is applicable
  • Caste (SC/ ST) Certificate of the candidate from the appropriate authority where applicable
  • Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Certificate issued by District Disabilities Rehabilitation Centers (DDRC) or competent authority approved by the State Government, if any
  • Ward of Ex-Serviceman Certificate (from Rajya Sainik Board/ Directorate of Sainik Welfare)
  • BPL ration card from the appropriate authority where applicable
  • Certificate regarding the period of stay of candidate/ father/ mother for not less than five years in case of wards of Ex-Serviceman/ Serving Defence Personnel, issued by the appropriate authority, where necessary
  • Certificate showing the proof of Serving Defence Personnel, issued by the appropriate authority where necessary.

Tripura JEE FAQs 2022

In what cities the Tripura JEE 2022 will be conducted?

The entrance examination will be conducted at Dharmanagar, Kailasahar, Ambassa, Udaipur, Santirbazar and Agartala.

What if I accidently submit more than one application for TJEE 2022?

Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Duplicate application may cause the rejection of the candidature.

Do I need to submit any document to the board at the time of application process?

There is no need to send any document to the board at the time of application process. All the important documents will be required for verification at the time of counseling.

If I am not happy with my result, can I ask for re-evaluation?

No provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of the answer sheet will be provided to the candidates.

Can I apply for TJEE 2022 more than once?

Yes. However, if you were granted admission in the past on the basis of TJEE score, you cannot appear for the exam again.
