Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency for providing admission to Engineering, Pharmacy, and Management courses.
Apart from UPCET, JEE Main is conducted for engineering admission in Uttar Pradesh. It is a national level engineering entrance exam whose score is valid in all engineering colleges across the country except IIT. For IIT, you need to take JEE Advanced after qualifying JEE Main. Students who have completed class 12th exam are eligible to apply for JEE Main.
There are few private engineering colleges who also conduct their independent entrance exam for which students have to appear exclusively.
