The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) will be releasing the application form for the TISSNET on its official website. The form will hopefully be released in the month of November 2018. The form can be filled both modes, i.e. online as well as offline. Similarly, the fee payment can also be done in online and offline mode. All the interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can check the details of the application form. In order to help such applicants, we are presenting here the details of the TISSNET application form filling process.

Steps to fill TISSNET Application Form
Online Form Filling:
The first step in the filling of TISSNET application form 2019 is the registration of the candidates using a valid email id. The candidate will receive a password using which he/she can further log in to fill the form.
When the candidate logs in, he/she will be required to enter their personal and academic details into the application form.
The scanned copy of documents such as photograph, signature mark sheet of the qualifying exam and other required documents are also uploaded in the application form. The list of the other documents is mentioned below:
- Caste Certificate (issued by the proper authority)
- PWD Certificate (if applicable)
- Income Certificate (if the annual income is less than 2.5 lakh)
- KM Certificate (Only for Kashmir Migrants)
- Armed Forces Certificate (if seeking Armed Forces quota)
Offline Form Filling:
The candidates who do not have easy access to the Internet (those residing in the remote areas) will be provided the facility of filling the application form offline. The candidates will have to take a printout of the application form, fill it completely and along with the required documents (same as the ones mentioned above + copy of Challan) send it to the following address:

Application Fee
Through a single form, an applicant can apply for a maximum of 3 different programmes. However, those applying for more than one programme will have to submit the application fee for the other programmes additionally. The application fee structure for both online and offline modes are mentioned below:

Note: Bank charges for Challan submission will be applicable in addition to the mentioned application fee.
After all the process is complete and the form is submitted successfully, the candidates are supposed to take the printout of the form and keep it for future references. The duly filled application form must be submitted before the last date to avoid rejection of the form. Also, the documents uploaded must be very clear as this can also lead to form rejection.
