Eligibility Criteria

It is must for all applicants to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university for that particular course in which candidate seeking admission. Those who fail to fulfill the important eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear in the admission process. The eligibility criteria for the courses offered by Tezpur university through distance mode will be varied from each other. Below, we are furnishing the details about Tezpur University Distance Education 2022 eligibility criteria for various programmes:

For MA (Mass Communication) and PG diploma courses (Functional Hindi/Retail Management/Investment Management/HR Management and Governance & Development)

• Candidates must have done the Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum qualifying marks

For M.SC in Mathematics

• Candidate must have done a bachelor’s degree with honors in Mathematics or bachelor’s in Mathematics as one of the major subjects obtaining a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics.

For PG diploma (Renewable Energy and Energy Management)

• Candidates having BE/B.Tech or M.Sc degree in chemistry or physics are eligible to apply.

Tezpur University Distance Education Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates can obtain the application form and Prospectus from the CODL, its several study centers and selected branches of post office against the payment of Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100/- in case of candidates from SC/ST category). Candidates can also obtain the application form from university website i.e. www.tezu.ernet.in

Candidates must fill all mandatory fields with correct details. They need to submit the filled in application form completed in all respect along with a demand draft of applicable fee drawn in favour of The Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur to the university address mentioned below:
