“TAPAS” is a scheme that enables talented male students from socially and economically backward classes to avail education from IIT JEE. Started in the year 2012, under this project students get free IIT JEE coaching along with free accommodation, study material, tuition fees, and food for 2 years. Selected candidates need to shift to the college at Rastrotthana Campus, Banashankari for their training.

Before filling up the application, students should get the study certificate completely filled and signed by the school principal. TAPAS Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The application form of all ineligible candidates will be rejected.

  • Only boy students are eligible to apply for this scheme.
  • The student should be studying currently in class 10th.
  • Only those students are eligible whose family annual income is less than 2 lakhs.
  • Students must have secured at least 80% marks in the 9th

TAPS Entrance Exam Application Form 2022

The registration process of TAPAS will take place in online mode only. The exam authorities will not release a printed application form. A complete step-by-step process of application form submission is explained below.

1st Step – Preparing the documents

  • First of all, candidates need to prepare a scanned copy of their photographs. The photo size should be less than 200 KB of format JPEG/ PNG/ JPG.
  • Next, aspirants have to download the study certificate format from a web site.
  • After that, you need to get the certificate filled and signed by the Principal.
  • Apart from this, candidates should keep all their educational and personal details ready to fill in the application form.

2nd Step – Fill the application form

  • Next, aspirants have to visit the TAPAS/ SAADHANA website to access the application form.
  • In the application form, candidates should fill in their complete academic, personal, and contact details.
  • The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, authorities may reject the application form.
  • Along with the details, aspirants have to upload scanned images of their photograph and study certificate. The size of the scanned document/ photo should be less than 200 KB in format JPG/ PNG/ JPEG.

3rd Step – Review and submit the form

  • Once you are done with filling the application form, you should review the details submitted.
  • Fix all the errors and incorrect details (if any).
  • Finally, submit the completed application form.
  • After submitting the form, the link to download a hall ticket will be generated.

Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

  • After successful submission of your application form, your hall ticket will be generated online. You may take a printout of the same after submitting the form.
  • In case you missed taking a printout of the exam hall ticket after submitting the form then you may visit the website and download the hall ticket by entering your first name and registered mobile number.
  • The hall ticket is a very important document that should be carried to the examination centre.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre without a hall ticket/ admit card.

TAPAS Entrance Exam 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for TAPAS Entrance Exam 2022 is given below.

  • Physics: Motion, Force and law of motion, work and energy.
  • Chemistry: Matter in our surroundings, Atoms and molecules, structure of the atom, chemical reactions and equations, acids, bases, and salts.
  • Mathematics: Polynomials, Linear equations in two variables, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Lines and Angles, Surface Areas and Volumes, Real numbers

Result

  • The result of TAPAS will release in online mode through the official website only.
  • In order to check the result, candidates have to provide their registration number and mobile number.
  • Apart from the result, the exam authority will also publish a list of candidates selected for admission.
  • The selected candidates will then be asked to get their documents verified.
  • Selection camps will be conducted immediately after the SSLC examination.
  • The final result will be published at the end of the camp.
