TANUVAS Admission 2021: The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, affiliated to Madras University is amongst the four veterinary science universities in India. The university offers the candidate different courses in UG, PG and Ph.D. programs. PG diploma course is also offered in regular or distance learning modes. The selection in Bachelor’s courses is done on the basis of marks in qualifying exam, in Master’s and Ph.D., through university’s entrance test and in PG diploma course, through entrance test or merit. Only the residents of Tamil Nadu can apply for the admissions.

Application Form
The application form can be filled in both online as well as offline mode. In the online method, the application is filled and the fee is paid by Credit, Debit card or Net Banking. The candidate can obtain the form through post or collect it in person from university admission cell by paying the application fee. For application obtained through the post, the fee can be paid via demand draft. - Course name: BVSc. & AH (5-year)
Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCB with a minimum of 60% marks (reserved category candidates require to mere pass the exam) / 60% marks in aggregate of Biology and vocational subjects (Agricultural practices, Dairy or Poultry).
- Course name: B.Tech in Poultry Science/Dairy Technology/Food Technology
Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCMB with a minimum of 60% marks. Reserved category candidates require to mere pass the 10+2 exam.
TANUVAS Admission 2021: M.V.Sc, M.Tech, M.Sc & PG Diploma Program

Eligibility Criteria: Those who hold B.V.Sc. Or B.V.Sc. & Animal Husbandry degree from any college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India are eligible.
- Course name: M.Tech in Food Technology
Eligibility Criteria: The candidates who have done B.Tech. in Food Processing Technology, Food Engineering, Dairy Technology or equivalent course with minimum 55% marks can apply.
- Course name: M.Sc.in Bioinformatics
Eligibility Criteria: The applicants should hold a BVS / B.V.Sc and AH / MBBS / BDS degree, or should have done B.Sc. in Agriculture, Life Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology or Pharmacology with at least 50% marks.
- Course name: M.Sc. in Biotechnology
Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Gene Technology / Animal Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Environmental Sciences / Genetics is required.
- PG Diploma Programs
Eligibility Criteria: Those who have done graduation in the relevant stream are eligible.
TANUVAS Ph.D. Admission 2021
Eligibility Criteria: Those who have done Masters in the relevant stream with minimum 55% marks are eligible.
