Symbiosis SET 2024: Application Form, Syllabus, Eligibility Criteria

Symbiosis SET 2024 will be conducted by the Symbiosis International University for admission into various UG programs of Law, Design, Engineering etc. There are four different tests conducted under Symbiosis SET Exam. Following are the tests that a candidate needs to appear for as per the course he/she wishes to enroll in-

  • Candidates opting for law course need to appear for SET-Law Test (SLAT).
  • Those opting for design course need to appear in the SEED Test.
  • For engineering, candidates need to take the SITEEE exam.
  • SET General will continue as SET.

Students will only be eligible to appear for the test if they apply for the exam as per the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities conducting the examination. Eligibility Criteria for Symbiosis SET 2024

The eligibility criteria for Symbiosis SET for some of the courses are given below. Candidates are suggested to visit the page dedicated to it for complete eligibility criteria or check the official website.

Nationality: Indians/ NRI/ Foreign Nationals (FN)/ OCI/Person of Indian Origin (PIO) are eligible to apply for the exam.

Note: OCI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing for SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE and have to apply through Symbiosis Center for International Education.

For B.Tech

  • Qualifying Examination: A candidate must have passed class 12th with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subject Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject.
  • Percentage Required: Candidates should have scored minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination.

For BA LLB & BBA LLB

  • Qualifying Examination: A candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board.
  • Percentage Required: Candidates should have scored minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in single attempt only.

Note: Candidates appearing in class 12th can also apply.

For B.Des

  • Qualifying Examination: A candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board or hold a three-year diploma from a recognized university.
  • Percentage Required: Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks.

Note: Candidates appearing in class 12th or in final year of diploma can also apply.

Symbiosis SET 2024 Application Form

Students can register for the Symbiosis SET 2024 Examination only via online mode. For that, they simply need to visit the official website and register themselves using details such as Email ID, Name, Mobile Number etc. The registration details will be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number and Email ID. The same can be used to login to fill the application form for the exam. No changes in the form will be entertained once the registration window is closed. Candidates aspiring to get admission in engineering discipline on the basis of test other than SITEEE need not register for the same. They can contact the concerned institutes directly. During online registration, applicants need to fill their particulars in the form along with the uploading of the scanned copy of signature and photograph. Before submitting their form, candidates must pay the requisite amount of application fee as mentioned below.

Application Fee

  1. For each test, candidates need to pay Rs. 1750/-
  2. For one test in the morning (SLAT/SEED) and one in the evening (SET/SITEEE), candidates need to pay Rs. 3500/-

Symbiosis SET 2024 Exam Pattern

The Symbiosis SET exam comprises of 4 different papers. The exam pattern for the same is given below:

  • Papers: SLAT/SEED/SET/SITEEE
  • Session: Two i.e. Morning (SLAT/SEED) & Afternoon (SET/SITEEE)
  • Mode: online
  • Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
  • Total No. of Questions: 150 questions in SLAT, SET & SEED and 100 Questions in SITEEE
  • Type of Questions: MCQs
  • Marking Scheme: +1 mark will be awarded for each right answer in SLAT, SET & SEED. Whereas, in for engineering & health science courses +2 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: Not Applicable

Symbiosis SET 2024 Syllabus

There is no such syllabus fixed by the authority for Symbiosis SET 2024 Examination. However, candidates can prepare for the same keeping in mind the relevant subjects studied as per the syllabus of the qualifying examination. Symbiosis SET Admit Card

The admit card for Symbiosis SET 2024 Exam can be downloaded from the official website https://www.set-test.org/. Candidates should keep a colored printout of the admit card and must carry the same in the exam hall. Black and white printout of the hall ticket will be considered invalid. In case a candidate has chosen both the sessions i.e. morning & afternoon then, he/she should carry two different admit card for each session. Applicant should also ensure that their photograph is pasted on the admit card before they appear for the test. Candidates also need to carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card in the exam hall.

Result and Counselling

Candidates can check their Symbiosis SET 2024 result through the official website. Candidates need to login to download their scorecard for SLAT/SEED/SET/SITEEE exam using the respective IDs and Password obtained during the registration. A merit list will be announced on the website indicating the names/roll no. of the candidates shortlisted for the counselling process. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained by the students in the exam. Selected candidates will be called for the counselling to being the admission process.
