Eligibility Criteria for Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University (SGGSWU) Admissions 2021
For Phd Admission:
Candidates having master degree in relevant stream with minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 (50% marks or 5.0 cgpa for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 40% for PH candidates)
For M.Tech lateral entry
Lateral entry to third semester under School of Engineering and School of Engineering Technologies (except M.Tech Food Processing Technology) will be available at M.Tech (five years) Integrated Courses for candidates who have completed three year diploma course in Engineering B.Sc (medical)/non-medical, as applicable) from a recognized University / board with at least of 50% marks.
Applicants who have been awarded grades in the qualifying examination will have to generate the required conversion formula for changing the scored grades into percentage marks
Reservation criteria
A total of 85% seats will be reserved for applicants belonging to Punjab State. The applicants seeking admission under this category should be a permanent resident of Punjab State in terms of Punjab Government, Department of Personal and Administrative Reforms.
However, children of Defence Personal posted in Punjab are relaxed from this condition to be extent that they must have examination from a recognized college situated in Punjab
Rest of the 15% seats will be open to all the applicants from outside the state of Punjab
SGGSWU Admission 2021 Application Form: How to apply?
The Prospectus along with Application form will be available on the university website i.e. www.saaswu.org. The eligible candidates can download the Admission Form and submit it with the required fee (Rs. 500/-) through a Bank Draft in favor or Registrar, Sri Guru Granth World University (Fatehgarh Sahib) payable at Fatehgarh Sahib, by the due date. A candidate who desires to apply in more than one Course/ Subject, need to fill a separate admission Form, available on payment of Rs. 50/-
The University will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transfer of the admission form/document. Application forms incomplete in any manner or without necessary enclosures or those received after due date will not be considered.
