Eligibility Criteria for SRHU PGMEE 2021
- The candidate who is successfully completed M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized Indian/ Foreign Medical Institute and completed 12 Months Compulsory Rotating Internship and obtained permanent registration from Medical Council of India (MCI) or any authorized State Medical Council (SMC) are eligible to apply.
- The Candidate who is currently undergoing 12- Months Compulsory Internship after passing the qualifying examination (M.B.B.S. or a foreign medical degree recognized by MCI) is eligible to apply SRHU PGMEE 2021, only if the internship will complete on or before 31st March 2021. For a proof regarding this, the candidate will have to submit a certificate from the head of the institution, which stating that the applicant can complete his/her internship before 31st March 2021.
Keep-in Mind:- The candidate who is obtained M.B.B.S. degree from an Institute/University that is not affiliated to Medical Council of India (MCI) is not eligible for attending SRHU PGMEE.

SRHU PGMEE is conducting annually for the admissions to MD Programmes, MS Programmes and Diploma Programmes. The list of courses offering under various Programmes are shown below

Courses offered: Anesthesiology, Anatomy, General Medicine, Community Medicine, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Paediatrics, Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Pulmonary Medicine (Tb & Respiratory Diseases), Radio-diagnosis, Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy and Radio-therapy.
- Programme Name: MS (Master of Surgery)
Course Offered: Otorhinolaryngology (E.N.T.), General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedics.
- Programme Name: Diploma Programme
Courses Offered: Diploma in Child Health, Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Diploma in Orthopedics and Diploma in Medical Radio-diagnosis.
Application Form- Key Things
- The applicant must have filled the SRHU PGMEE 2021 application form as per the guidelines. The application can download from the University website in the month of December.
- The candidate must fill the application form in his/her own Handwriting in CAPITAL letters.
- Incomplete application will be rejected without a prior notification.
Process to Apply
- Download the application from University website i.e. srhu.edu.in
- Fill the application by Handwriting method
- Send the application form along with the documents, photo and Demand draft to the university address before the deadline.
The list of documents shown below must send with SRHU PGMEE 2021 along with the application form –
- Copy of Date of Birth Certificate or High school or secondary school certificate that mentioned candidate’s date of birth.
- The Mark sheets of all M.B.B.S examinations and provisional passing certificate offered by the Institute.
- Internship completion certificate offered by the head of the institution
- Registration certificate that provided by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council
- A Permanent resident certificate offered by the responsible authority to prove the candidate belongs to Uttarakhand State.
- Cast certificate for S.C/S.T/O.B.C category.
- Two recent passport size photographs.
Application fees
The application Fee for SRHU PGMEE will be Rs. 3,500/- (Rupees three thousand five hundred only), which can be pay as Demand Draft (DD) mode. The Demand Draft of the same should be drawn in favour of “Swami Rama Himalayan University” payable at State Bank of India, Jolly Grant (Branch code No- 10580), Dehradun.
Exam Pattern
- It’s a one paper exam consisting 250 Multiple Choice, which has to attend in Three hours.
- The questions of SRHU PGMEE are merely excerpted from M.B.B.S. curriculum. The tabular column shown below is giving you the details of the tentative number of questions from each subject that may ask in SRHU PGMEE 2021.

Note: The exam will be conducted only in the English Language.
Admit Card
- The office controller of the exam will issue the admit card for all the candidates who were successfully applied for the exam.
- The candidates can download the admit card from the university website (srhu.edu.in) after entering their application number and DOB in the suggested tabs.
- Only those who have a valid admit card offered by SHRU are allowed to enter the examination center. Along with the downloaded-self attested admit card, the candidate must also carry a valid Identity card like PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/Driving License for his/her identification.
Note: In case, you didn’t get SRHU PGMEE admit card then it means that your application is rejected due to any one of reason shown below.
- Improper application filling
- Qualification details entered wrongly
- Didn’t eligible to apply SRHU PGMEE, though applied
- Didn’t submit the form before deadline

Merit List
- Those who were obtained below 50% marks OR 40% (in case of SC/ST/OBC) in SRHU PGMEE are not eligible to attend the exam.
- In case multiple candidates are obtaining equivalent marks in PGMEE 2021, then the selection will be on the basis of following 3-level (tie) procedures shown below.
First Level– The candidate who acquired high marks in the final year of M.B.B.S. University examination will get priority. In case the tie still persists, then –
Second Level- The candidate who taken together higher percentage of marks in all the examinations of M.B.B.S. programme will get more priority. If the tie still persists, then –
Third Level– the candidate who is older in age than other candidates will get priority.
Result
The result of SRHU PGMEE 2021 is expected to declare in the month of February on University website (www.srhu.edu.in).
Note: The University never informs the candidate’s result via Telephone or by post.
