Eligibility criteria 

The university has set some eligibility conditions for the courses offered by it. The eligibility criteria may vary from all the programmes. Below, we are providing some details on South Asian University PG Admission 2022 eligibility criteria for various courses.

For LLM Courses

• Candidates who have done a minimum of 17 years of education including 12 years of schooling + five years Integrated BA/LLB degree with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• Candidates having 12 years of schooling plus three years of Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years LLB degree

Or

• 12 years schooling along with 4 years’ LLB degree with a minimum of 50% marks may also apply for admission.

For MA Courses

Candidates should have done graduation in concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks.

For M.Sc courses

Applicants must hold Bachelors degree scoring minimum 55% marks.

For MPhil & PhD Courses

• Candidates seeking admission to M.Phil/PhD courses in Economics, International Relations, Sociology, and Legal Studies must have done Master’s degree in the related department with scoring a minimum of 50% marks.
• For M.Phil/PhD courses in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Biotechnology, candidates should be passed Master’s degree in the concerned field with at least 55% marks.
• Applicants, who are appearing in the last year/semester exam for Master’s degree may also eligible to apply for admission to M.Phil/PhD courses.

South Asian University PG Admission 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. But, before filling the application form, candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility.

The candidates have to pay Rs 650/-as necessary application fee for admission. The payment can be made online through Credit/Debit Cards or Net Banking.

Candidates who are unable to pay the application fee online can send a bank draft for Rs.650/- drawn in favor of “South Asian University” payable at New Delhi to the Deputy Registrar Admissions, South Asian University, Akbar Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi – 110021 (India).

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the entrance test organized by the university.
