SKUAST Jammu CET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria of the SKUAST CET Exam 2022 are different for various courses as mentioned below.

For Undergraduate Programmes

• B. Tech (Biotechnology) – Aspirants must have passed class 12th with PCB/ PCM/ PCMB subject group with a minimum of 50% marks. 40% marks for candidates from reserved categories.
• B.V.Sc & A.H. – Candidates should have passed the class 12th or equivalent exam with PCB/ PCM/ PCMB subject group with a minimum of 50% marks. 40% marks for candidates from reserved categories.
• B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture – Candidates must have cleared 10+2 or an equivalent exam with PCB/ PCM/ PCMB subject group with at least 50% marks.

For Postgraduate Programmes 

• M.Sc. Agriculture & Allied Sciences – Candidates must have a B.Sc. Degree in any of the following fields – Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Life Sciences.
• M.Sc. Basic Sciences – Aspirants need to have B.Sc. Degree in any of the following fields –
• M. Tech Agriculture Engineering – Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Bio-Sciences/ Life Science with Chemistry/ Biochemistry.
• M.V.Sc. – Those candidates who have a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree is eligible to apply.

For Ph.D. Programme

• Aspirants must have a master degree in a relevant subject.
• Candidates also need to have a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or equivalent percentage marks in the Master degree exam. 6.0 CGPA or equivalent percentage marks for SC/ ST/ PhD candidates.

SKUAST Jammu CET Application Form 2022

The application form for the SKUAST Jammu CET 2022 examination will release in online mode. Those aspirants who are looking to apply need to submit the application form through the official website. Given below are the steps that you can apply.

• First of all, you will have to visit the official website of the university.
• On the official website, you need to register by entering some of your basic details like email, phone number, etc.
• Once registered, you will have to log in by entering the credentials generated at the time of registeration.
• Then, you need to fill in your complete details in the application form.
• All details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form can be rejected.
• In addition to the details, you need to upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature.

For UG Admission 

• Examination Mode – Offline (Pen and Paper Based Test)
• Duration of the exam – 3 hours
• Number of questions – 180 questions
• Type of questions – Objective type multiple choice questions
• Marking Scheme – Each question will carry 1 mark
• Negative Marking – 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

For PG Admission

• Examination Mode – Offline (Pen and Paper Based Test)
• Duration of the exam – 2 hours and 30 minutes
• Number of questions – 150 questions
• Type of questions – Objective type multiple choice questions
• Marking Scheme – Each question will carry 1 mark
• Negative Marking – 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

SKUAST Jammu CET Admit Card 2022

• Once the application form submission process will get over, authorities will release the admit card.
• The admit card will release online through the official website of the SKUAST Jammu.
• To download the admit card, candidates will have to visit the official website and enter their login ID and password.
• In case of any problem with downloading the admit card, candidates will have to contact the office of the Examination Cell, SKUAST Jammu, Chatha.
• It is necessary for all candidates to carry a hard copy of the admit card along with one photo ID proof (Aadhar card/ Voter Id/ Driving License/ Passport etc.) at the examination centre.

SKUAST Jammu CET 2022 Result
