SOA University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates applying for admission in this university must meet certain eligibility conditions depending on their course. The course-wise eligibility criteria for Siksha O Anusandhan University Admission 2022 are provided below:

For bachelor’s degree program:

• Tech: The candidates should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Informatics/ Statistics/ Technical Vocational subject with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
• Sc. in Nursing (Basic): A pass in 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) and a pass in English is required.

For lateral entry program:

• Lateral Entry B.Pharm: Those who have passed 2-year diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) from State Board of Pharmacy (SBP), Odisha, or equivalent are eligible.
• Lateral Entry BHMCT: Those who have passed 3-year diploma in hotel management or equivalent after 10+2, with minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) can apply.

For master’s degree program:

• Tech: The applicants should have done B.Tech or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
• MCA: The applicants should have done 3-year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) and Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.

For Ph.D degree program:

• Mathematics: A M.Sc. degree in Mathematics (any specialization) with CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate is required.
• Engineering:Tech/ M.E or equivalent degree in the concerned branch with CGPA of 6.75 or 60% of marks in aggregate is required.

Note: The candidates appearing in their qualifying exam in the year 2020 are also eligible.

SOA Admission 2022 Admit Card

The candidates, in order to successfully appear for the exam, need to reach the exam center along with their admit card. The admit card will be available for download around 1 week before the date of exam. The applicants are supposed to download the admit card and take its printout. The details of the exam center and schedule will be mentioned on the admit card and the candidates must report to the center as per these details only. No candidates will be allowed entry in the exam hall without a valid admit card.

SOA University Admission 2022 Result

After the successful commencement of the exam, the conducting authorities will release the SOA Admission result 2020 in online mode. The candidates can see their results by visiting the official website using their roll number and date of birth. Based on the marks scored by the test in the entrance exam, a merit list will be prepared. For the candidates applying for admission based on any other national level exam (e.g. JEE, NEET), a separate merit list will be prepared. The counseling and further admission process will be carried out according to this list.

Counseling & Admission
