Admit card to appear in the SCRA exam will be released in online mode on commission’s website. Candidates will be able to download their SCRA Admit Card using their name, registration number and other application details. Those who submit their application forms successfully will be able to download their admit card. The admit card will not be sent to the candidates through post or courier and will only be released online. Steps to download SCRA Admit Card

The simple steps following which the candidates will be able to download their admit card are given below:

• Go to the official website of UPSC to get the link to download the admit card.
• A direct link to download the admit card will also be provided on this page, once it is made available.
• Click on this link. A new window will open asking you to provide your registration id and password.
• Enter these details carefully and click on the submit button.
• Alternatively, you can also download your admit card providing details of name, father’s name and date of birth.
• After downloading, take a printout of the admit card. This printout must be carried to the exam center by the candidates.

Details on the admit card

Following information related to the candidate and the exam will be published on the admit card. The candidates must check the entries on the admit card and if any discrepancy found it must be communicated to the commission.

• Name of the candidate
• Candidate’s father name
• Roll number
• Date of birth
• Category
• Gender
• Exam center venue address
• Timing and date of the exam

Important documents

Candidates must carry the following documents along with them while reporting for the exam. In absence of any of these documents, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

• A printout of SCRA admit card
• A valid photo identity proof such as Voter’s ID, PAN card, Aadhaar card, Passport, etc
• Two passport sized photographs

Banned items

The following items should not be carried inside the exam hall. If found in possession of any of these items, the candidates will be disqualified.

• Edible item such as tea, coffee, cold drinks, snacks, etc
• Textual material, printed or written material bits of papers, etc
• Log tables, Electronic devices, DocuPen, Slide rules, Calculators, Electronic watches with facilities of calculator, etc

Things to keep in mind

• Candidates who submit the SCRA application form in time will only be able to download their admit card.
• Admit card should not be distorted in any manner as damaged admit cards will not be considered as valid.
• The applicants should preserve their admit card as it will also be required at the time of admission.
• On demand by the invigilator, the candidates must present their admit card for verification.
• To protect it from loss or damage, the candidates are suggested to take multiple printouts of the admit card.
• In case the candidates are not able to download their admit card, they must contact the commission providing the details of their registration id.
• Issuance of admit card does not imply that the candidature of the applicants have been accepted and it depends on their performance in the exam.
