SAAT 2023: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern

Admission to different courses offered by the Siksha O Anusandhan University such as B.Tech, MBA, BCA, B.Pharma, M.Tech, MCA, etc will be done of the basis of Siksha O Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT). It is a university-level entrance exam conducted generally from the month of April onwards. Candidates can start filling and submitting their application form from the month of January 2023. SAAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for various UG and PG programs under SAAT 2023 are provided below:

For UG programs:

  • B.Tech: The candidates should have passed their class 12th exam with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Informatics/ Statistics/ Information Technology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) in aggregate.
  • BBA: A pass in class 12th exam is required in order to be eligible.
  • BCA: Applicants should have passed their class 12th exam with Mathematics as a subject.
  • B.Pharma: Those with a pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology are eligible.
  • BHMCT: The candidates should have passed their class 12th exam in order to be eligible.

For PG programs:

  • M.Tech: A BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant specialization is required.
  • MBA: Candidates with bachelor’s degree in any discipline scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate are eligible.
  • MCA: The applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject at +2 or +3 level with a minimum 50% marks (45% SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
  • M.Pharma: Those with a B.Pharma degree are eligible to apply.

SAAT 2023 Application Form

Interested candidates can apply online for SAAT 2023 exam. The application form has been released on the official website of Siksha O Anusandhan www.admission.soa.ac.in on

  • The candidates will have to provide their personal and academic details to fill the application form.
  • Photograph and signature should also be uploaded in the application form in scanned format.
  • After providing all the details into the application form, the candidates can submit it online.
  • The candidates are advised to take a hard copy of the application form and keep it safe for reference purpose.
  • There is no need to send the hard copy of the application or any other document to the SOA University.

Application fee:

There is no application fee required to apply for the admission test.

SAAT 2023 Admit Card

  • The SAAT 2023 admit card will be released online around one week before the commencement of the exam.
  • Applicants can download the admit card by visiting the official website and using their application details.
  • The candidates should take a printout of admit card and carry it to the exam center while reporting for the exam.
  • The candidates are advised to preserve their admit card till the whole process of admission is over.

SAAT 2023 Result

  • Result of the admission test will be made available on the official website of the institute.
  • Candidates will be able to check their result and download their rank card using their details such as roll number, date of birth, etc.
  • A merit list of the candidates will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by them in the entrance test.
  • Separate merit list will be prepared for different courses and different categories of candidates.
  • Counseling of the candidates will be held as per their names in the merit list.

SAAT 2023 Counseling

  • Details regarding the counseling will be intimated to the candidates on the official website of SOA institute.
  • Candidates will be asked to provide their choice for course specialization before starting of counseling.
  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their choice, ranking of the candidates and availability of seats.
  • Final selection of the candidates will be done after verification of documents and eligibility.
